This is one of the best caves in India. Set just outside of cherapunjee, these caves are quite spectacular. If you are claustrophobic then you should avoid it since some of the entrances are very very narrow. You have to crouch a lot so it can get quite physical. You can spend around 30-40 minutes here Overall, a pleasant experience.

This is a delight for youngsters and a good cave exploration experience. The caves are not very extensive but for first timers it is definitely worth a visit. Here one may find out if the person is claustrophobic.

Beautiful, vast and natural caves and government has restricted its access to an extent to avoid any missing cases. Well lighted inside and worth visiting. At some place it's narrow so all tall guys please mind your head.

Cave passing is adventurous. some area is really narrow, so you need to squeeze while passing. But great experience.

This is the longest cave I have visited so far hence I really found it adventurous and was excited as it was not ending after twists and turns...must visit places of shillong! It's a bit scary for children below 5 years of age so plan accordingly in turns.

Cave path is less than 500 mts (inside the caves). Exciting walk, but beware of the very narrow passages, not for heavy built people (There is one particular spot where people can get stuck if overweight). Not for people who are claustrophobic.

Well, it is awesome. The natural limestone caves with astonishing stalactites and stalagmites figurines naturally created by percolating waters along the joints are bewitching .Shine a torch to see the effect. In fact long back these figures shone like diamonds because they were devoid of dust and slime . If you break or scratch the surface, one can see the shining white marble.... More
