Alexander Point is on the east side of Matheran. (other famous point like, echo point, Louisa point, sunset point are on the west). It gives different view from the top. You can see beautiful valley and other points like Garbut point, Rambag point from there.

From matheran market there is a straight route for all view points after 100m walk "Shri Pisarnath Market" is there on right side. Go straight and don't take right turn, in 50 m walk you will see a board on right side following are the sunrise view points 1. Alexandar point - 0.70 km away 2. Rambaug point - 1.50... More

All the points have different hill and valley views. So this is one of them. Good to go by feet and enjoy the walk. It's nice calm place.

From Matheran Market it is only a 15 to 20 minutes walk. Best Point to watch sunrise. At the end of the monsoon the sight is far reaching and on some good days one can see the 30 miles far away windmills in the rising sun.

Near to Maarket area and recommended to walk up to this point to experience the best sight of nature and backdrop of green forests. It is a popular site for peace seekers, which offers beautiful views of towers of Bhivpuri Power house, Palasdari Lake, Rambaug Point, Garbut Point, Chowk Point and downhill village of Borgaon and more
