It was not at all crowded(may be because of the Covid times) when we did the boat ride around 5PM and witnessed a magnificent sunset. We took a private boat for Rs800 which is for 30 minutes. However, the boatmen took an extra Rs500 promising us to take further away which is a scam, don't fall for it. But those guys were pretty entertaining all through, giving running commentary.

We went to this places on the way to our rajasthan road trip. After reaching we went to Marble rock which is in Begaghat. Which is about 30kms. We took private boat which will cost you 1200 to 1500 for 6 to 8 people along with guide ,the ride was about 1hr. This was amazing and stunning we can see different colours of rocks and few film shooting spots. We can see Dhundhar falls from the other side. After that we went to Dhundhar falls which is again one of the beautiful spot ,and finally we went to gowrighat where arti for Narmada will be performed again which is amazing.

Awesome. The timing is from morning 630 to evening 6 pm. Cost RS 800/ boat , which can sit up to 7-8 people . PL go up to the mini Dhuadhar falls. The last part is simply mind blowing. Better to go early in the morning or late in the evening when it is not crowded.

We can have an amazing experience by watching both the sides of river. Boat driver cum guide also entertains by giving lots of information about the marble rocks and the scene or songs pictured at this location. A must watch place of Jabalpur.

It’s a nice place to spent an hour or so. You can do boating which comes in 2 flavors.

1. Shared boat with 10-15 other people for ₹100!each. Duration is 30-40 mins.
2. Exclusive boat for ₹800 which can take upto 8 people. Duration 30-40 mins.

Boatsmen give funny Running commentary which is an added bonus.

The place is good with mostly clean water, if you are lucky you’ll be able to see some marine life and birds such as white eagle etc. Marble rocks are very pretty and looks mesmerizing.

Mini Grand canyon . Boating in Narmada here is an experience It Looks beautiful throughout day . Morning time is better because of less crowds and soft sunlight which gives better photos Evenings can be hot and harsh sunlight. Take a non sharing boat for better photographs and experience . Plenty of shopping experience about . Pleasantly there were no touts, Boatmen with local folkfore are simply entertaing . No guides required

When we took an exclusive boat at the ghats we were told it will be for 30-45 minutes and charges are Rs 800. We agreed to avoid crowds. After about 15 minutes and not even gone halfway the guide told us the trip is only till here and if you want to go ahead you have to pay 1600. We had no choice but to agree as we had come from afar (Mumbai) and this being a trip of a lifetime. He only agreed to reduce to Rs 1500. Innocent tourists can be taken for a ride (metaphorically and literally) here!. Though the view and beautiy of the rocks made up for it and we didnt want to get into argument and fight in a boat without lifejackets provided in the middle of the river.

This is a sight to behold - absolutely stunning! Since May is the peak of the summer, we decided so to visit this evening around 4pm. The formation of huge marble rocks with its varied size, shape and colour were breathtaking to see. And because it is summer, there weren't much crowd as well - we had a peaceful boat ride with the oarsmen commenting on the history of the place in their own style mixed with humour rhyming words! This is the only place in India with such natural formation. We were also told that boat ride during a full moon day would be a surreal experience as moon's light will reflect in the water and boats are allowed to ride till 12 pm - there are flood lights installed on the rocks as well.

The boating was not open and we could appreciate the falls through the rope way. That is the best way to get an ariel view of the falls. It also provides a better view of the falls from across the river on the other side. Hence rope way is a must. However, boating would have been an amazing experience. Boating is typically opened after October 15th and it is best to visit after that period. Since, we visited just immediately after the monsoons the water level was pretty high. As a result the length of the walls is reduced and hence you will not experience it complete glory.

This is the most appropriate place for a day long trip during visit to Jabalpur, the place has got multiple tourist attraction like Bhedaghat, Panchwati Ghat, Chousath Yogini Mandir, Dhuandhar and Rope way with a lot of Handicraft article shopping .

During your visit to Bhedaghat- Boat Ride is a must to do activity, and its safe too.

The duration of Boat ride is approx 1 Hour, you can hire a complete boat or you can share it with other visitors as per your group size.

The Boat Operator are the Guide during the entire ride, and they share the relevant information in a very interesting way.
