I really love the view from the back if this winery. It is so unique the way they have utilized the old church. It's worth stopping to see the amazing views and architecture. The wine is good but nothing too exciting.

Mr. Siegel is the owner of this unique winery established in what was once a church. The wines are very nice, you can bring a picnic basic and sit outdoors on the spacious terraces or under the roof of the picnic Pavilion and, if visiting while the evenings are chilly, enjoy a fire in the cozy fireplace!

Visited with a group of friends. First, the place is very unique, with church pews and stained glass windows. It was a nice day, so we chose to sit outside. The covered deck in back is fabulous! Beautiful view as well. Unfortunately, the wine is just not good. None of us liked any of the wines we tasted, even though... More

Skip if possible! Very nice location, BUT bartender was put out by welcoming our bus tour group (14 people) to the location. She was quick to tell us that they were too busy to offer a flight to our group. If you do stop, the blush ice wine is fantastic... We ditched and walked the road to Red Eagle Distillery...... More

Stopped at South River Vineyard on a bus tour. They would not give flights of wine because they were too busy. However, there was a table in the winery with flights. The lady "serving" us acted like she couldn't be bothered to assist us and was rushing to get to the next person waiting on us. I reluctantly bought a... More

The building was great being the old church. We sat inside for a bit and then moved outside to the wonderful porch to take in the scenery. I would recommend everyone stop here.

Beautiful setting. The renovations to the old church are wonderful. Very busy as we were there on a Saturday.

We had this place on our list but had no idea what to expect. The place is a church. I first thought oh they purchased the church. No, they had it built to be the winery. It's amazing inside. The wine was very good on everything that we tried. We got some wine and took it outside and drank on... More

Love the idea of using an old church as being a winery. Old materials, original wood flooring, stained glass windows all add to the atmosphere of this winery inside an old church building with a GREAT STORY behind it. Immediately I was offered my tastings which lead me to purchsing the Karma and the Semillon. Remeber to take aphotgraph as... More

Enjoyed a bottle of their reisling. Dry and fruity which was perfect to join the picnic dinner we brought. Nice views over the vines of the sunset. Not too crowded on the patio which was an added plus on a Friday night.
