Lehman's, founded in 1955 by Jay Lehman to serve the local Amish, now ships brand new, but old-fashioned merchandise all over the world. The store has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Newsweek, Time and more -- it's worth a trip to Kidron.

Spent 3 hours and loved every minute

A must see business where you can purchase items that do not require electricty (cooking and farming) as well as children's toys.

One of our favorite places to visit in Amish Country. Self-sufficiency, gardening, non-electric, kitchen gadgets, gas fridge- you name it- they have it! Great place to spend a couple hours (or more)!

We stopped here on our trip to Amish country. It is great to wander through. All kinds of things. Plus they had a great wood carved pictrue exhibit. It was fabulous. It is a fun use of a few hours. Plus the drive to get there is very pretty. It is a great time for adults and kids of all... More

Room after room of everything you could think of from gifts, kitchen utensils, decor items, furniture, gardening needs, lamps, old fashioned gifts, Christian books, toys, cards, goodies, etc. etc. We even had a wonderful lunch in their cafe! Such a neat place. On the property are more buildings with continuations of more items--Amish appliances ( non-electric); a world trade gift... More

We always stop here on our way through Amish country. It's not only an interesting place for appliances and old fashioned goods, I love kitchen gadgets and you can find most anything you want here. Don't miss this place, you'll be happy you stopped.

I have been getting the Lehman's catalogs for years, but had never made it to the store. On a trip to Cleveland, I finally decided to get off the interstate and check it out. It did not disappoint. I had no idea that the store had the ENTIRE catalog under its roof. Section after section, it just went on and... More

After two days of shopping in Amish Country with my wife and seeing the same thing in every store we visited, I made a point of visiting Lehman's and seeing man stuff. Not any more. I was so disappointed that they've turned the store into just another boring trinket store. It's mainly kitchen, grocery and beauty products. Wow. The hardware... More

Thanks for your review and for visiting. Sorry you were disappointed! In response to your comments and those of other customers, we're adding an enlarged hardware department, and bringing back many of our hand tools (carving chisels, crosscut saws, etc.). Come back this summer and you will see some changes I think you will like! We are constantly adjusting what... More

I absolutely love this place. You can really find just about everything you want. I love the craft soda's and the large selection of kitchen gadgets. We bought an Amish made wooden marble game for the grandkids....just like my grandfather used to make many years ago. Soaps, candy, coffee, you name it we bought it. One of our favorite shopping... This was my second trip to Lehman's hardware store and I loved it as much as the first time. It is an amazing place with so many unique things. It took me a couple hours to go through the store and I probably didn't see everything. But I want to go back. A very enjoyable place to visit and I... More
