My family (a group of eight) visited the farm and our expectations were definitely exceeded! Kathleen is lovely and very knowledgable; not only about the alpacas/llamas but the area and farming industry. Robert is a chef and his food is top class, even the lemonade was homemade. We had such a nice relaxed afternoon and everybody loved it from the two-year-old to the grandparents! Thanks again!

This is a great venue and fantastic hosts/owners. A great pre-arranged morning tea for our historic car club, 1 hour talk about the Alpaccas, wool etc and feed the lovely animals.

We loved our visit to Cardiff Alpacas. Kathleen and Rob are so friendly and the whole experience was put together very well. It was very hands-on and the alpacas and llamas are gorgeous. Morning tea was delicious and very generous.

I visited with a group of Yamba locals, for something “different” to do. We chose the lunch option, expecting a simple and rustic affair, for the quoted price of $13.20 each. Lunch was a very traditional, home cooked summer meal of chicken, quiche and salads, but was of a much higher standard than we expected, and included tea/coffee and desert. (You really should increase your prices, Rob and Kathleen!)
We sat under the shade of a beautiful big pecan tree, and what made lunch so different was that we were surrounded by a herd of alpacas grazing around us.
After lunch Kathleen have us a talk about the alpacas and llamas, and then we hand fed the very friendly alpacas, before walking to the llamas to hand feed them.
We all had a great time, and I thoroughly recommend this place to locals and tourists.

We visited Cardiff Alpacas during a family holiday to Yamba. What a great way to spend an afternoon. We thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality of Rob and Kathleen who were a wealth of knowledge on all things alpaca. The kids enjoyed feeding the animals and the hands on experience with getting the fleece ready for spinning.

The afternoon tea was incredible and in abundance! Homemade scones with jam and cream, lamingtons and cupcakes with tea, coffee and homemade lemon squash. Value for money was outstanding at a mere $6 per head. We cant recommend this place highly enough.

A must do when visiting the Yamba/Iluka area!

We had a wonderful morning with the Alpacas. You get a full tour of the Alpaca Farm, hand feed these gentle animals and a demonstration of the preparation of the alpaca fleece. Some alpacas products are available for sale, not cheap but so soft.

The tour is followed by a magnificent morning tea with homemade Devonshire-style scones with jam and cream, homemade lamingtons and tea or coffee. All for $5 a person (worth a lot more than $5). The morning tea alone is worth the visit. You can also come for lunch and afternoon tea.
