We visited Roscoe Village primarily to take the boat ride. Definitely worth it! Excellent narration explaining the history of the canal and its significance. Visited the village as well. We ate at the Warehouse restaurant which was affordable and very enjoyable. The man attending the bar came to our table and gave us information on the history of the area. Food was good and we went back the next day for another visit.

It is a nice living history museum. It is not like other spots where the streets are closed to traffic so you do have old time with the modern. The sites are great to see.
