Great service from the wine tasting. We were educated about the winery and its beginnings. We stayed for a picnic lunch and enjoyed the peaceful rustic setting.

Not what you expect in this area, but a pleasant surprise. The owner is on site and welcomes you with conversation, education, and years of wine making knowledge and experience. The wines are superb and the history of the owner explains why. Sit and converse...More

Stopped by here while passing through. Easily one of the friendliest and most knowledgeable wine tasting experiences we have had. We also enjoyed the wine. Spend the few minutes to find this place if you're nearby - and enjoy the wine in this informal setting.

If you love good wine, especially Chardonney, don't miss a visit to Markko. Place isn't fancy but wait until you taste his wines.

If you like dry wines that are quality wines, stop and visit Arnie at Markko Winery. Not too many wineries can pull out bottles of Chardonnay that have been aging in a barrel for 16 years. It is an amazing experience!
