They decorate this downtown park with Christmas lights during the Christmas season! It’s definitely worth a walk around, however, you will probably have to pay for parking.

Typical downtown area in a big city, which means crowded and dirty while clean and bright, just depending on what corner you turn. Horrendous traffic, parking is lacking and expensive, all the typical big city issues. Big city downtown areas can be exciting and vibrant...More

The Commons of Columbus are almost as nice as Boston. Those are very historic but Columbus which is a much younger city has managed to pick up the stately character and charm that other great Ohio cities lack. The grounds are immaculate and waterfront beautiful...More

Bumped into it while walking the neighborhood - just another great product of Columbus. Finished eating and happened to see down the street.

I attended a Columbus Symphony Event last night. Outdoor concerts can be a risk with weather conditions controlling many factors. The Commons was such a clean area to enjoy the Tchaikovsky Music extravaganza performance by the world class Symphony. Both screens upfront were so clear...More

I had my first visit to the commons for Picnic with the Pops. This particular event included the Columbus Symphony Orchestra and the band Hanson. It was a very entertaining evening. The venue is nice. It's shaded by the buildings around it so, even on...More

We saw the Columbus Symphony and Michael Cavanaugh at the Columbus Commons and it was a wonderful event. Sold out, but we had great view from our chairs on the lawn. Both the Orchestra and Cavanaugh were great. Wonderful night for an outdoor concert. We...More

This park sits on land that used to be occupied by the Columbus City Center, which closed in 2007. The space is now an open park with a bandstand and other amenities. It is a beautiful spot located just south of the Statehouse.
