It’s very peaceful driving or walking through greenlawn cemetery. The graves a well maintained for the most part and lots of trees, animals to see when passing by. I love driving though here looking for family and calming my mind.

Mostly well tended gravestone date back hundreds of years. We found people born as long ago as 1812 and some who died in Civil War era. The military part is impressive and the sprawling kids' area tugs at your hearts, with toys and stuffed animals...More

I would not really call this a tourist activity although it is a peaceful spot. I went to the cemetery to see the gravesite of Eddie Rickenbacker, the World War I ace pilot. First opened in 1849, it certainly has a number of historical gravesites....More

Acres of old trees and well maintained paths. Fascinating to see all the old monuments. Civil War section is especially touching. If you get a chance to take a tour with the Columbus Landmarks Foundation (offered four times a year), definitely do it - quirky...More

This is a lovely Victorian cemetery which is still in use and well maintained. It is very garden like and has a pond, lots of trees and tons of history. Many of the older tombstones are highly decorative and tell something about the person they...More

We have driven through this cemetery many times and always find something new. Beautifully maintained and a lovely historic drive. There is also birding also.

This is a very large cemetery. Office staff go out of there way to be of assistance. Only problem is the grass mowers cover gravestones with cuttings which discolor the stones.

This is a wonderful, quiet (!) and utterly attractive place to bird, or just for a walk. You'll find lots of other birders there, too.
