I have visited the Governor's Residence many times over the years. Scheduling a tour is always a great thing to be involved in. The home is also a museum of Ohio history, an art gallery of Ohio artists and craftsmen, and a place where international and national politicians have come. This venue has been used for a wide variety of receptions, award ceremonies, etc. It is not large or well configured for large groups, parking is a challenge even when valets are used. It is easy to understand why Gov. Kasich continues to reside in Westerville.

This free tour is excellent! It's worth going just for the artwork and history lesson. The house is stunning and the docents are knowledgeable and delightful. We enjoyed seeing the Christmas decorations and look forward to touring the gardens in the spring. Make your free reservation for a Tuesday tour at www.fogrhrg.org or call 614-644-7644, ext 1.

When Governor Strickland lived in the residence I was there a few times the house is so lovely decorated with antiques collected by many governors. The gardens are full of Ohio flowers a lovely fragrant stroll. The Mansion represents the history of Ohio a treasure for all Ohioans and a source of pride for all of our citizens.
