Great facilities, especially with the addition of the new buildings. The State Fair is excellent - definitely an experience for everyone. Fair food is good and everywhere, but my favorite place to eat is in the Taste of Ohio Cafe. The Taste of Ohio offers...More

We stayed at Korbel East Campground (Ohio Expo Center & State Fair) for one night in March. Almost the whole park was empty except for two long term tenets. This rv park is way to expensive for a State Fair Campground. However you have no...More

Wanted to see the state fair as we were travelling in the area at that time. Beach Boys concert was an added plus. The Clydesdales, of course, are amazing. This fair had more 'flea market' type of areas than others we have visited.

For those of you who remember the animated version of the classic children's book Charlotte's Web, Templeton the Rat sang a song about a fair being a smorgasbord of delights. That about sums up the Ohio State Fair. Lots of people, lots of animals, lots...More

The fair is a once a year event, but the OHIO historical society museum is open 7 days a week. It is in the same area as the fair. It's a wonderful place to visit to get in out of the heat or rain.

I believe that all seating in the beef expo is bleacher type seating without backs. It's been a few years since I spent a lot of time in this arena so there may have been some changes but I wouldn't count on it
