A 1908 horse-drawn era fire station with examples of hand-drawn, horse-drawn and early motorized fire trucks. In addition to the historic preservation, fire safety classes are taught to groups of children and adults. A play area and gift shop are also available.

We took a tour of the firehouse museum on 3rd and chestnut with our three grandsons. Small but really gave the boys an idea of what is was like back in the day!

Took 3 grandchildren to visit. Tons of fun and interactive activities. Got great pictures of the kids dressed up in fireman clothing and sliding down the fire pole. Kids talked about it for weeks after our trip. Great teaching opportunity for kids as well. Our...More

We visited here after one of the fire memorials one year. My uncle had been a firefighter and then an inspector. There were really cool items there.

This museum shares the history of firefighting in Columbus and is an excellent learning experience for both adults and children. Top notch displays in a historic fire station.

Pretty cool. An old firehouse turned museum. This place has some great old fire trucks, wagons, and a whole bunch of firefighting equipment. The staff is friendly and knows what they are talking about.
