I used to take my science classes from the Cincinnati area and now take my grandkids there. COSI is an exceptional example of a hands on museum. The displays and demonstrations are well done.

We have a membership here, so we go quite often. It took us several trips to visit all the exhibits, with a small child. There isn't as much hands-on stuff as you'd expect, but there is plenty to see and do, and plenty to learn!

They have a large parking lot, in a very urban and congested area.... I am not 100% sure but maybe where they park buses for school trips. Call the center, as it would require permission I would assume.

I have seen every age at COSI. Of course, depending on the child's ability to interact would determine how appropriate the visit. However, COSI maintains the ability to motivate adults and children.
