A Christmas Story House, now restored to its movie splendor, is open year round to the public for tours. Directly across the street from the house is the official A Christmas Story House Museum, which features original props, costumes and memorabilia from the film, as well as hundreds of rare behind-the-scenes photos. Among the props and costumes are the toys from the Higbee's window, Randy's snowsuit, the chalkboard from Miss Shields' classroom and the family car. After reliving A Christmas Story at Ralphie's house don't forget to visit the museum gift shop for your own Major Award Leg Lamp and other great movie memorabilia.

This was so much fun! The tour and museum are definitely worth a visit. They've completely renovated the house so it looks just like it did in the movie. There are props that look like those in the movie which you can use and take...More

It was ok not overly impressed. Located in a residential neighborhood tight streets with minimal parking. The gift shop was neat.

If you love the movie A Christmas Story, and your near Cleveland Ohio, you must stop here. This was a fun place to see and the museum and gift shop across the street was fun.

This was a great tour. My entire family enjoyed the tour and would encourage others to visit. The tour guide was knowledgeable and it was great to learn some behind the scene movie trivia.

If you do the 24 Christmas Day marathon, don't miss. Tours start ever 30 minutes. You can roam through the house and pretend you are in the movie. Knowledgeable staff. Lots of movie merchandise. Parking is tough.

Start with the Christmas Story house, plan on 2 hours for tour and browsing. Cemetery next, finish with Hall of Fame. Plan on 3 hours minimum for the Hall.

Parking is free across the street from the house. You buy tickets at the store and then a guide will take you across the street to the house and then to the museum.

20 minute drive. The Christmas Story House is over the bridge from the downtown core. We chose to Über there to avoid having to find parking as it's on a residential street.
