We saw the Nutcracker, performed by the Philadelphia Ballet Company and accompanied by the Cleveland Symphony Orchestra at the State theatre. This performance was dramatically different then a previous performance we had seen a number of years ago. The dancers and the costumes were very, very good. The scenery and staging was also exceptional. My only complaint was that the... More

We saw My Fair Lady, and it was a marvelous presentation! I grew up knowing the words of every song, but this performance was just amazingly beautiful! I would not miss seeing it again and will certainly look forward to my next Playhouse visit.

If you have never seen a live professional performance this is a must and NE Ohio is very fortunate to have tremendous facilities. Playhouse Square has so much to offer. The offerings are varied and reasonably priced and the experiences are well worth it. There are so many things to do in the immediate area before or after any production.... More

I saw two shows the Beauty and the Best and The Lion King. I give five stars to both. They were absolutely amazing. I recommend to go see a show.

What a jewel we have in Cleveland. The theaters are spectacular and the actors are so talented. I'm just amazed every time I go here to see a play. We all should go and enjoy this great landmark we have. They need the support. Take in a play and have a nice dinner, it's cheaper than going to most sporting... More

We had the pleasure of attending a performance of "Finding Neverland" at the Connor Palace last night. What a wonderful experience! The parking garage is attached to the theatre complex via an enclosed walkway over Euclid Ave. everything is is handicap-accessible. Once inside, the theatre lobbies appear to all be connected. The "front-of-house" staff including the ushers were competent and... More

With 10 venues this theater district offers a wide array of shows from Broadway musicals to local acts from comedy to high drama. There are 5 historic theaters and 5 modern venues. The State, Connor Palace, and Ohio are the grandest. The Allan and Hanna are smaller, with modern amenities. The area has many restaurants to choose from. The square... More

I am super impressed with all they have done to clean up this area. It was super cool and the chandelier was amazing. Lots of bright lights for the country bumpkins to enjoy.

We went here on a school field trip to see the production of My Fair Lady, it was produced at the Hanna Theater (Great Lakes Theater), the plot of the show made no sense and the set looked like children made it, but the reason to see My Fair Lady was the fight between Eliza and the man in the... All of the playhouse venues are gorgeous inside. They have been carefully restored to their original glory. Restrooms are good, carpeting is fresh. And most seats are worth the cost.
