Pete Dye is one of the quintessential golf course designers of the last 50 years. This course was from his early years - 1971. It is a true gem! Beautiful layout and a great challenge. Also a bargain at just over $40 for 18 with a cart. Golfweek rated it the #2 ranked public course in the state of Ohio... More

This is a first class Pete Dye course that is very challenging. Price is definitely right. Fairways, greens, and tee boxes in outstanding shape. Live in Texas, but want to go back to play again. Staff helpful. A delight to play.

Took most of the Summer to get a Tee-Time, it was worth wait! The course is in amazing shape despite the weather, challenging for most and enjoyable for almost all. Played the Lake and River courses. On this Labor Day 2015..it was packed with last chance weekend warriors. Bring an extra sleeve of balls, as challenges abound and one wrong... More

The layout is challenging but fair. The greens are well kept and the fairways are green and lush. If you play a lot, this should be one of the places you go often. If you don't, make sure this is one of your rounds. The hole around the lake is one of the best. The clubhouse is adequate and the... More

They have three nines and unfortunately they were aerating the Lake course and we had to play the Maple for our second nine. The River course was great and the Maple course must have been an afterthought as it was like playing a different course.

Course was in excellent condition - almost like a private country club. The senior rate with a cart is a terrific value. Course is long and difficult, but a fair course and you don't mind the difficulty because it is such a nice course. Tree lined fairways with very good separation between holes (you cannot see another hole from most... More

You must include a round of golf at Fowlers Mill on your annual to-do list. Often booked for outings and corporate events, be persistent and book a tee-time. During the week is much easier to score a tee time and a good excuse for a "mid-week cold". A tranquil but challenging course. The course plays long and can be made... More

This course is a local treasure, Pete Dye design, formerly TRW Country Club. Play the Lake/River only, Maple in nice Executive 9, but should never be forced into the rotation for 18. They love outings, so getting a reasonable tee time, even on the weekend, is rather difficult.

We played 18 holes for a retirement send off of a colleague at work. I had not played in 5+yrs and found this to be a nice course to get back in to the game. A couple nice challenges in a fairly wooded area. Well maintained and in spite of a chilly rain shower here and there it was nice.... More
