This is a very nice library......the staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend a visit.....even for Canadians like myself who are not up on the minute details of President McKinley's presidency.

I was impressed with the mausoleum. I was somewhat taken aback to see the area used as a gym - there were so many people running up and down the steps and doing calisthenics around the top. It was interesting to see the artifacts and...More

On our second trip, we were even more impressed than before. The lower level is a science-centre-type sequence aimed at younger visitors, but unexpectedly interesting and fun for adults, too, due to the thoughtfulness of its exposition. But the real treasures are on the upper...More

Came to learn about President McKinley, found a small exhibit about him contained in a museum that had dinosaurs, a planetarium, and a history of Start County (who cares). The Memorial to McKinley is impressive.

We were terribly disappointed with the McKinley exhibit. Placards with misspellings and the wrong date for when he was shot on the last display. The display appears to be an after thought. The memorial was impressive (and free). Our advice? Skip the museum if your...More

Did not venture to any part of the large museum other than the small McKinley section. Hardly worth the $10 if this is all you want to do, as was the case with our party. Only new tidbit I learned was that the President's/Major's home...More

Not only are we the home of professional football, but also to a former President of the United States. Students of history should visit. There is something for the whole family here including a Planetarium and a Natural History section complete with dinosaurs. The admission...More

Great place to visit and climb the stairs then slide down the sides. A cool museum is just across the parking lot.
