Fort Laurens is the site of Ohio's Only Revolutionary War fort. Today, a small museum displays the stories of the soldiers stationed at the fort and their sacrifice. An outline of the fort remains. On-site there is a Tomb of the Unknown Patriot. Fort Laurens Museum is open seasonally May-October.

very informative film & staff was very knowledgable. Enjoyed walking the grounds, reading the plaques.Is celebrating its 100 yr.as a state park.Only revolutionary war Fort in Ohio. History of the Fort which exsisted less then a year was interesting,

Very educational video and tour! History buff use stop. Tomb of unknown soldier from revolutionary war. Outline of the original fort on site. Only revolutionary war fort in Ohio! Enjoyed it alot!!

I visited because an ancestor of mine helped build Ft. Laurens. The location was lovely, and the information provided was very interesting, but not overwhelming. They perfect setting for a picnic, and gaining an understanding of a less understood piece of the Revolutionary War.
