Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Huge selection of wines and they were delicious! Fun tasting in a quaint room with friendly staff. Plenty of wines included in the tasting. Good price point. Very happy we stopped here!

This was one of our favorite stops in McLaren Vale! A gorgeous, tree-lined road led us to the lovely and quaint tasting room where we were enthusiastically welcomed. We were treated to a delicious, friendly, and informative tasting of several wines from their various ranges, and we found each wine bursting with its specific grapey-ness. We were especially impressed with their Cockscomb Cab Sav and bought two bottles, as well as a bottle of their delectable Vintage Fortified Cabernet. Don’t miss this wonderful gem!

We had the pleasure of doing a wine tasting at Battle of Bosworth yesterday. It’s been a long-time favourite of ours, but yesterday’s wine tasting took it to a whole new level. Not only is it amazing to sit outside in the sun an enjoy the view of the vineyards, we had the most knowledgable expert guiding us through what was truly a wine experience. Summer knew the background of every wine and took plenty of time to tell us about each and every one of them. Not your boring old wine-tasting - truly a memorable experience. Amazing wines, amazing people talking you through them as you get to enjoy a huge variety of different flavours and scents. Ordered a case and can’t wait to come back. Thanks, Summer!

Visited this certified organic winery yesterday and was so well looked after by Jane. Such a delightful experience from the moment we drove into the winery. Jane answered all of our questions and shared a wonderful history of the winery, as well as assisting us with our purchases. We are also looking forward to visiting their Kangaroo Island winery next week. Thanks for your care and attention, and advice for a good brewery close by too!

This place was recommended by another local winery and is probably the smallest we’ve visited.

We visited with friends and our doggy, and were welcome inside by the fire - perfect for a cold winter’s day.

Tastings are free, and the host Summer wasn’t shy with the offerings!

I can highly recommend the red sparkling, NV WANDERER RED, perfect chilled.

My son had the wheat beer and loved it!

The grounds were cute, it was too cold to sit out, but the views across the vines were lovely!

One of the rare vineyards in the McLaren Vale area that do not charge for tasting. It is a small cellar door in a lovely setting with a magnificent two storey country house a short distance away. There is plenty of seating outside to enjoy your tasting and assorted cheeses and dips are available to purchase. A generous glass of wine is available for purchase at $7.00, and the smaller tastings are free. We thought their 2019 Battle of Bosworth Shiraz was the best we had tasted in the area and purchased half a dozen bottles of it. Couldn't resist buying the glasses to match. Would thoroughly recommend a visit. It is near the Willunga High School and just out of the town centre.

Thanks for sharing Geoff. We love being down the quieter Willunga end of McLaren Vale. So great to hear you enjoyed your time & found a wine to keep you warm through the colder months.
