Good shoes and a camera is all you need. In summer try early and later in the afternoon as it can be hot as daisy. Dirt road to get there so take your time. Worthwhile! Fantastic views.

So worth it - just go there! Drive into the park from the Lincoln Highway. The walk to get up onto Wild Dog Hill is easy and the outback views worth it. There is a picnic area there with toilets.
