We were told about The Haystacks as a must see on our drive around The Eyre Peninsular. They are amazing, the formations, the size, and just off the main road, you could easily drive by, but walking around the field more and more appear. Definitely...More

Visited Murphy's Haystack and was taken back by these magnificent rock formations. Certainly worth a trip out there to see this phenomenon in the middle of the field. We also bought the local honey which was delicious. Well worth the $4 as a couple.

These rocks appear to be totally out of place with the landscape so they represent a curiosity. If you're caravanning, then you're able to camp in the carpark and take the opportunity to see the rocks in the afternoon as well as the morning light...More
