Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Had to drag my partner here because he said they were "just rocks" . Well, he had to eat his words! Took the turnoff after Port Kenny (we were heading north) and then a short drive in.
Entry is minimal and an honesty box is at the covered entrance were you too can purchase honey from the area. - another honesty system. Swaying grasses line the pathway to these wonders! You think it's a few rocks BUT there's more further afield that you can explore at your leisure. Time was on our side and we soaked up the views with a cuppa in the undercover picnic facilities. Bring the fly repellent!

It is a great spot for lunch in the maintained picnic area. The shade was very welcome at this hot day. I enjoyed walking through the granite boulders and pillar. Take you're time and wander around and take a look from different sides. It is a wonderful place with lots of amazing imaginative rock formation.

Absolutely amazing, really enjoyed our time here, they are on private property, the area is well maintained, toilets and a picnic area. $2 a person or $5 a family, well worth it. They are large well weathered granite outcrops, and got their name because a passer by long ago mistook them for Haystacks.
Really worth a visit!!

These huge rock formations are well worth a stop. It’s a short detour from the main highway. At first glance I thought there was only the ones we could see from the car parking area but then realised after walking up to them that there was more and then more again!

A great set of random stones in a private farmers field.
Wasn’t too busy and simply walk in and out.
Flies are horrendous so a net is advantageous.
Honest box of $2 per person at the entrance.

Visited on Sunday 8th March. We went to check out Murphy's Haystacks when we were on our way from Venus Bay to Streaky Bay. There is not a lot to see but still worth going to have a look at them. There is a honest box for payment and its not that much. Guess if you don't want to pay to walk around then don't bother driving out there.

This is part of the driving loop but turned out to be a highlight. There's an honesty box to pay your admission as it's on private land but well worth it. We thought from photos there were only a couple of rocks, but there's a rail with over a dozen of them. A must do if you're passing.

A short distance off the highway on a sealed and well sign-posted road, these great pink granite boulders stand on private property. A small donation to enter, and you can walk right up close. About 20 feet high, they are impressive and worth a visit. An information board tells how they came to be formed. Parking is easy, as is access, and there are toilet facilities. Local honey is also for sale, with an honesty box.

These are not far off the main road and on a scenic loop out of Streaky Bay. They are on private property and the small entry is by honesty box. There are picnic tables and good toilets on-site. The initially visible 'haystacks' (granite inselbergs) are an easy walk from the car park on a formed path however it is well worth wandering over to those a bit further away in among the trees. Good photographic opportunities.

This is a little off the beaten track but a great place to visit.

Entry is AUD 2.00 on the honesty system, and there are good toilets available. There's plenty of parking and it seems to be popular for an overnight spot.

The walk to/from is not arduous, the scenery is great and it's worth exploring a bit as some of the views are hidden by trees.

Don't forget to grab some local honey too (also honesty system).

Well worth a visit.
