Our friends live over the road from this walkway, so we walked their bulldog through here en route to breakfast in the town. They talked about how it is often flooded & the height of the floodwater as we strolled through with "Boysie". Whilst it was a pleasant walk, it was not something I could describe as exceptional. The town... More

The walk is very pleasant and easy as it's not very far. Take some top out in the park under a shady tree. Strathalbyn is a beautiful well preserved old town with a lot to offer the curious like the old Laucke Flour Mill (see photos) and the old church. A beautiful place.

A very nice find, the pathway meanders through Strathalbyn, all paved and not a challenging walk. There are even exercise areas along the way for those of a sporty nature. Did get a bit messed up during recent high rainfall, but that doesn't detract from the scenery.

Visitors to Strathalbyn are sure to visit the Soldiers' Memorial Park, but for those with a little more time, it is interesting to follow the little tracks that run alongside the river. This is not a highly developed attraction, although we did find some barbecues, but it is a way to get some unusual views of Strathalbyn and to discover... More

In the heart of Strathalbyn you will find The River Angas Walkway. Sit and watch the birds and ducks or walk through the gardens, this is a relaxing way to while away the day. Take time out and relax and enjoy the scenery.

The walkway is a lovely distraction from the hustle and bustle of a hectic lifestyle. It is suitable for all ages and in most areas is wheelchair friendly. The lawns and garden are always well kept and a credit to the local council. I always enjoy this beautiful area whenever I visit Strathalbyn.

A nice walk in the park is worthy. Pick up a historical walking map from the Information Centre and learn a little about this lovely town.

This is a nice place for a walk and check out the lush lawns and gardens and ANZAC memorial and other dedications around the garden. Is a credit to the gardeners who look after this centre piece in town. Just a pity the corellas are chewing the trees up.
