Hard to find and then it was closed.
Dec. 2019
Checked on website to see if open. Said it was. Tried to find it at “new location “. Drove straight past as sign was too small to see from the road. When finally did find it, a poorly spelt hand written note saying they were closed. And we’d taken interstate visitors to see it!

Very small private museum with a Corsair
Nov. 2019
This museum recently had to sell a number of its aircraft to other parties, but kept the Corsair to restore to static display. Best to visit this little place whilst it's still around. Entry by donation. The volunteers are wonderful chaps and eager to share any and all information. Park your car on the street outside.

Quality .v. quantity
Apr. 2019 • Couples
This aircraft museum has a small but well-presented collection and the quantity is more than compensated for by the quality of, not only the planes and artefacts, but by the knowledgeable and very friendly volunteer staff. It may not be big, but it's a gem!!

Classic Jet Fighters Museum is worth visiting.
Dec. 2017 • Friends
It's very interesting and if you're a WWII buff then for sure you're going to enjoy it. My uncle is big on planes, but I'm moderately interested in them. Still I really enjoyed the visit. Check it out.

Jets of Yesteryears
Jun. 2018 • Family
The airfield in Parafield, Adelaide host a place for classic jets. In this museum a visitor can learn about the history and stories of flight not only to entertain but to educate as well. There is even the opportunity to sit in the cockpit of a Navy plane and have your picture taken for posterity.

Part of the display are the famous aircrafts such as The French Mirage 3, the old reliable military Douglas Dakota C47 or DC3 in commercial aviation, a bubble-type helicopter and a replica of the experimental unmanned jet in the early days of jet propulsion.

As an added attraction, there is a museum shop which sells souvenirs and model kits for different age groups.

A Must Visit for Me
Jan. 2018 • Friends
We were visiting Australia from late December 2017 to late January 2018, during this time we ate out at many restaurants and pubs, took drinks in a host of pubs and cafes and visited many attractions. It must be said that the collection has been somewhat depleted since my last visit but this does not detract from the interest of what is there. Their Corsair restoration is now well under way and I look forward to seeing this in it's completed state a few years from now. Great value for money and very well informed staff.

Great place for an aviation enthusiast
Aug. 2017 • Couples
It isn't a huge place, but you can get up close and personal with a lot of very interesting aviation memorabilia. You need time to look carefully, read and appreciate though. If you have a couple of hours to set aside and absorb what is on offer, you will really appreciate the effort that's been put in assembling this collection.

Great trip with kids
Oct. 2017 • Family
It was a cold wet horrible weekend and we planned to take the Grandchildren to Glenelg on the tram however due to horrible weather we decided to stay local and called in here. The kids absolutely loved it as did my husband. The volunteer gave us all a quick history lesson and there is even a plane on display that the kids got to sit in. We have driven past this museum so many times and now I wonder why we hadn't taken Mr 4 and Miss 8 here previously

Rods Only visit
Aug. 2016 • Friends
We visited this establishment with our Hot Rod group and found it amazing. The variety of aircraft was good and it was interesting that the staff at this establishment are all enthusiasts and volunteers. Bob Jarrat made us feel very welcome and I would highly recommend a visit to this iconic museum.
