    Credit to the town
Someone has to think of these things then get them up and running. Clearly Quorn has these kinds of folks by the truck loads. Well put together animated short film of the history of Quorn and it does have an interesting story to tell. The film is on nightly come rain hail or shine well worth your time to see this quirky production.

A pleasant night by the silos
I had read about this show and didn’t want to miss it. It was as good as all the reports I had read. If you have ever wondered about the Flinders Ranges this is the place to come and learn about the history of this magnificent area. the show has a bit of animation which is very cute and covers the original story, the war years, the CWA through the war years and of course the steam railway.

A new twist on silo art
This was a great twist on the silo art trend. It starts promptly at the time scheduled for each month, with a creative countdown 15 minutes before it starts. Each of the 10 minute film segments are enjoyable, learning about the history of the area in a fun, creative way. If you’re going to watch from your car, (with the soundtrack through the radio), just make sure you pick your park carefully- some of the beautiful trees along the road partially block the view of the silo. It’s worth having a night in Quorn to see this show!

The light show was amazing with so much interesting information. A credit to the locals who have put it together. Enjoyed it immensely and have recommended it to family members and friends.

Amazing light show. This is a great event and glad we did it on first night of our stay as we gathered an insight into the history and of what we can do in Quorn.
We suggest you bring your own chair and we visited in June so needed warm clothes and a lap rug. There are 3 bench seats available if needed. This is an amazing light show and well done to all involved and thank you.

The FREE Quorn silo light show at the end of our day trip was a really good way to end our day trip to the Flinders Ranges! The 45-min show is full of rich content about the story of the town and celebrating that rich history and how up until this day, those buildings built in the 1800s are still up and running and in good condition! The cherry on top was that after the show, the Transcontinental Hotel built in the 1878 (as the show displayed) is less than a minute walk away from the silo and you can have a very nice dinner! Just make sure you arrive in the silo at least 20 mins before the show to get a good seat and check their website on the starting times of the show as it differs monthly ~ we arrived 15 mins before and got a really good front seat!

Loved it! So informative, I was particularly fascinated by the bush tucker. We ordered our dinner from the Transcontinental pub prior to our arrival and got it take away. We sat and ate our tea while watching the show. It was very cold but we dressed warm and brought lots of blankets. The sunset was amazing and the stars incredible. Highly recommended activity for young and old. We visited from Birdwood 5234.

Great event. Well done. We had an exchange student from Golbey, France who thought this was an incrediblé experience. Great information about the local area.. We planned ahead and brought some cushions and a blanket as the night air was cold on the day we visited.
