Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Amazing light show with film projected on the large silos. Showcasing the history of the area over approximately 35 mins with commentary. Well worth the stop. Lovely evening so we were able to sit outside to view/listen but could chose to listen via the radio in your car.

I had read about this show and didn’t want to miss it. It was as good as all the reports I had read. If you have ever wondered about the Flinders Ranges this is the place to come and learn about the history of this magnificent area. the show has a bit of animation which is very cute and covers the original story, the war years, the CWA through the war years and of course the steam railway.

A really innovative twist on silo art! We took our chairs, food and drink and loved the stories. There’s certainly room for more local stories but we learnt a lot of Quorn’s history. The town will develop more through this unique attraction

Terrible.
The parking area (which would allow a good view) is closed and locked. 'Angle park on the road and try to get a park where the trees don't obscure the view'??
Why don't they let the audience park IN THE ACTUAL CAR PARK by the silo?
'Bring a battery powered radio'??
Couldn't get the car radio to find the radio commentary.
It was a windy and cold night and only 1 brave sole sat near the speakers.
It might be an excellent show - if you could actually see and hear it.
A waste of the 15 mins before we gave up and left.

What a fantastic addition to this delightful Flinders Ranges town. The silo light show is well worth a stay in Quorn. The quality of the images and commentary is so well done and the involvement of the local community in the content is really special. One hour show with a number of different short sections. We sat on the old sleepers where you can hear the commentary and don’t need to worry about bringing a radio. Start with a pre show drink at the quirky Scruffy Fella cafe/bar.

Loved it! So informative, I was particularly fascinated by the bush tucker. We ordered our dinner from the Transcontinental pub prior to our arrival and got it take away. We sat and ate our tea while watching the show. It was very cold but we dressed warm and brought lots of blankets. The sunset was amazing and the stars incredible. Highly recommended activity for young and old. We visited from Birdwood 5234.

This was an absolute highlight of our visit to the area. Great light show that was super informative and does justice to the area which is entrenched in significant history. Children had an amazing time learning all about Quorn in this light show. Not to be missed on your trip to Flinders Ranges and surrounds

Great evening out in Quorn. Considering most caravanners are in bed by 7pm this was an enjoyable late night out. 8.15 until we left. The display covering early history of Quorn including the war effort of the locals was very informative about a town we knew little of. The whole presentation was professional but family friendly at the same time. Good job Quorn a must do for all travellers
