Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Lovely spot to camp, especially the shady sites along the edge of the creek. Unfortunately the last time we camped there we came across someones rubbish, dumped along the creek so please people take it with you when you leave. We enjoyed the loop walk - the first part is a little steep and uneven but definitely do-able (maybe not on a really warm day). If you're lucky you might spot Yellow Footed Rock Wallabies - sorry to say that we weren't that lucky.

Wonderful spot in the Flinders Ranges for a day or a week.
No facilities other than drop toilets.
No wi-fi.
Fire places provided and Rubbish bins in one convenient spot
Lots of bays to park or camp in.
Can get very crowded but plenty of opportunity to make new friends.
Reasonable park rates.

Located at the end of the sealed road about 20 minutes north of Quorn, it is a lovely location where day-use entry fees apply. There is also an extensive camping area here that looks very pleasant.

We did the 5.4km circuit walk which was very enjoyable providing both good scenic views from the high points and lovely closeup scenery on the return down the gorge itself. Went anticlockwise which meant the uphill leg was a little shorter. Well worth a visit.

Wallaby's and apostle birds were the highlight also having the place to ourselves. It was a very hot day, so we did not do the whole walk but what we did was beautiful. No water in the gorge being January and 40+ C degree heat but even in the dry it is a beautiful special spot. Plenty of wallaby's which are known to be shy, very happy to see them. But oh, those social curious apostle birds I love seeing them. We gave them water and they certainly appreciated that. With the walks always be prepared not matter what the weather. But in the heat be extra prepared. I was surprised how dry this part of the country was, so so dry. Wish people would take their rubbish with them!

It was wet so we walked anti clockwise. This made the walk up a little harder but the walk down the other side was so much prettier and not so slippery or dangerous. It's a beautiful area and easily a place to spend a few hours.

Gone are the days of exploring this rugged gorge - now there are smooth roads, fences, signs, toilets and hundreds of others

We found this hike to be moderate in difficulty for an average hiker at about 6 kilometers. My wife and I have not hiked in the mountains for many years and we were still able to complete the loop without too much difficulty. Lovely scenery and worth the trip.

This area is well kept for picnics and bushwalking. There’s lots of room for families. Keep an eye out for the yellow footed rock wallabies near the creek and in the grasses. Impressive walls, and only a short drive from Quorn

Beautiful scenery and lots of wildlife. The walk-in trails looked great and there are toilets for visitors. The gorge rock formations are stunning, lovely place for a picnic or camping if that’s your thing.

Lovely easy walk, plenty of native bush. Looks like good camping area. Needs more seating along the way to sit and enjoy the views. Well signposted.
