Just wow! I did the Gnarly 4WD Tour with Norman and Coralie leading the way. Their expertise and knowledge are second to none with interesting and informed descriptions of the local area and history. While that was simply brilliant, the 4WD'ing was next level, just what I was after to test me and my machine. The tracks were from 8/10 to 10/10 difficulty rated with my heart in my mouth many times. But, their guidance and advice gave me confidence, and by day 4 I was tackling rugged up and downhill tracks with much more confidence than on day 1. The others on the tour were great too, with plenty of yarns around the campfires to keep us entertained. All up this was one the best 4WD things I've done. I highly recommend tours and training with Norm and Coralie, they are the best,

We did the 4x4 2 day training course with Norman and Coralie. What a brilliant 2 days. Even after driving in remote areas for the past 10 years, there was so much more to learn. Can't praise Norman Bee and Pindan Tours and Training highly enough. The training took place on a private track in the Flinders Ranges and on sand dunes north of Port Augusta. We got to practice every skill set several times, a must if you want something to "stick". Recovery techniques were covered as was the easiest technique for changing tyres ever. Thanks Pindan Tours and 4x4 Training

On our first (and only) night sleeping in our swag under a part moon and a black sky littered with stars. It was breathtaking!!
Thanks to the assistance of Norman and others on tour, helping us get over the few really difficult sand dunes we were able to get going again. The drive to Nalara Rock and back to the Googs Track was a great experience and will hold many memories. The many lizards, the beautiful flora which was beautifully described by Coralie along the way. The bush presented so colourful from the recent rains.
Unfortunately our Nissan X Trail was not able to handle the next section of this track, and the fact that even though we were carrying extra fuel, given the amount of fuel we had already used, and the distance and terrain, it was a mutual decision that we would return to Ceduna. Thanks for the experience!!

We have a 4x4 Mercedes sprinter Motorhome and have struggled to find a training company that would take us on with our van. Boy did we hit the jackpot with Pindan 4x4!! Norm and Coralie are lovely people and offered us an amazing 2 days of 1-on-1 training (in the beautiful Flinders Ranges area). They were both super professional and highly experienced/knowledgeable, the course notes/info was extremely detailed and the practical part challenging but very safe. The course exceeded all our expectations. Highly recommend for all that are wanting to explore the outback or up their skills. You can’t get better than this, especially at this $. Do it - you won’t regret it !

As a solo female about to embark on my next adventure in a new 4WD Motorhome, I was after quality training. I purchased this particular 4WD with the intention of not being limited on where I can travel. Reviews told me I have the right vehicle for the job, but the vehicle is only as good as it's driver.
Pindan 4WD training provides excellent vehicle knowledge and extensive experience in 4WD management. Norm was excellent at noticing my weaknesses and showing better "options". The theory training was a full day, but it was so well thought out and organized in a simple way that even I could follow, the time flew!
And the driving day was a lot of fun. It allowed me to experience some rough scenarios while the instructor is in the car with me guiding me to the best possible decisions. Now that I know what those scenarios feel like and now that I understand the vehicle so much better, my future adventures are going to be far less scary and I feel as prepared as I can be.

A memorable and thoroughly enjoyable Tag-along tour of the Madigan Line crossing the Simpson Desert. The history, geography and flora was accurately conveyed to the travelers daily and over UHF radio. The Pindan sand was spectacular and the dune crossings were challenging, but supported by Norm's immense 4WD experience, which he willingly passed on. Our tour group was a friendly and cooperative bunch from 3 states and all enjoyed the outback experience.

Well, it's not every day I allow someone else to drive my "Pride and Joy". Norm took my Campervan to "New Heights" albeit off road. Up and down Sand Slopes, Moguls and Deep Sand.
I cannot recommend this course any more than 10/10.
Believe me, remote Australian locations had better be prepared.
We're coming now!

It was our first time visiting the Flinders Rangers so we decided to book a Pindan day tour on our first day there to get an idea of the history and area. It was a fantastic decision as there were so many places we would never have seen or known about otherwise. It was about 9 hours all up and most of it is driving. We have three children aged 13, 6 and 2. Norm, Coralie and Norms mum (who also came along for the ride) were fantastic with our boys and considered their needs and safety throughout the whole day. We got to stop and go for walks around different ruins and historic sites with beautiful views and scenery everywhere.
The razorback lookout was one of my highlights, it looked like a painting. It was stunning. We were completely shocked and mesmerised with the Jeff Morgan gallery. We were expecting a few pictures on a wall but it was so much more. Floor to ceiling paintings that looked so real. Highly recommended. Throughout the tour, Norm would explain the history over the UHF radio and even the kids picked up so much information including the history of the Ghan and how ripple rocks were created.
Norm and Coralie were extremely welcoming, passionate & informative who clearly love what they do. Were looking forward to returning to the Flinders and booking a 4wd tour next. Even if you've been there before, I highly recommend booking a tour!
