This place is a wonderful place to stay. Stayed in a swag on a clear night and can see the stars clearly. You can sleep under the trees where the koalas live. Only down side is there's one toilet and showers which are out dated...More

Visited Mikkira Sation as part of a Taste of Eyre Tour. Delightful spot with lots of koalas in their natural habitat for viewing and photographing.

You have to walk/drive a little to find the koalas in their natural habitat, and when you do it's well worth the effort! Beautiful landscape. Old ruins & history were interesting. Toilets are provided at the entry to the station.

Sleep with koalas and kangaroos. The lady Bett who runs this place cares so much for the animals. Ask if you can meet Sally

Absolute gem of a place. Tons of koalas, sleepy lizards, roos, and even a hot shower. Camping ground was this massive open field that was full of kangaroos at night. Some good nature walks and history involved in the station.

This is an amazing place to visit or to go camping. We stayed for $25 per night which includes a hot shower. You camp next to trees, surrounded by wildlife. We saw an Emu with five grown up young, many kangaroos and birds. The highlight...More

We visit two times in a week. The natural environment and wild Koala. Beautiful birds around with beautiful landscape. However, the history of pioneer is respectable. Thank you for their effort and make us have this beautiful environment. One more thing, we met the owner...More
