Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I was not impressed that the WiFi didn't work inside or outside the Information Centre and the computer they had next to the entrance 'hadn't worked for ages.' Pathetic. I chose to read whilst my husband went on the guided tour of the museum and the woman came over and turned on the TV which made it difficult to concentrate on my historical book. Also the centre was far too cold so I retired to the warmth of the car.

Thank you for your review, MacLachlan. We apologise there were issues with the internet. If you do decide to come back, please feel free to let our staff know if the Visitor Information Centre is an uncomfortable temperature, or the television is too loud, they are more than willing to assist and like to ensure all our visitors are content. Kind regards, Megan.

Must see in Peterborough, go to the Railway tour, and walk the main street. We loved this quaint little place and to get the history is a bonus, as it has so much.

This is unmanned but has a heap of information. It has static displays down both sides. There is ample parking for any sort of vehicle.

Really well set up and the ladies we spoke with at the centre were fantastic. Shirley and Tamara were very passionate about the district and the advice they gave was very helpful. They could take a joke too and were just simply lovely people to talk to. We took their advice and visited a number of the attractions (I really didn't realise how much you can do in and around Peterborough). We also did the Terowie and northern drives which were worth doing.

The information centre is worth a visit set in a Railway carriage in the centre of town it gives a small amount of the history of Peterborough’s Railway and the surrounding areas. One enjoyable part was to sit in the carriage and watch the movie of the scenery going past the window wither the sound of a steam engine it was very a very interesting information centre
Don’t forget this is part of Steamtown which is worth a visit

The info centre in an old train carriage is an excellent resource for any travellers wanting to learn about the town's interesting history. The simulated train trip with effects is brilliant!

We visited petersborough as just a stop over on our travels but after talking to the lovely and informative Tamara at the information center extended our stay to do all the things she suggested. We took her advice on what to see and do. Even the best places to eat. We were not disappointed. The whole town was friendly and welcoming. We wish we could have stayed longer. Thankyou tamara. You are a treasure. Also thanks for organising a tour of the print museum after hours. Such a treat.

An important requirement when travelling is fuel for vehicles. Would you please display all fuel outlet locations in the town with if possible fuel prices. We filled our vehicle at the garage in the back street ( run by a councillor ) it was the cheapest in town at the time. The garage needs supporting more than the big fuel companies who have a monopoly on fuel. A simple display outside your building would do. Thanks. You have a great town.

Would you please give directions and details of the miniature railway display in the newsagent/post office. This is another great place to spend an hour or two watching the trains and looking at other items. It's free to visit. Well worth entering as it adds to the train theme of the town. A must see.

Sorry, we left there a while ago & I’ve just noticed question. It was in the newsagent in the Main Street. On the left as you go into the shop. Hope this is not too late for you. Was brilliant.

Do you happen to have a physical address (not a P.O. Box no.) for a Peter Hindman who lives in Peterborough, S.A.? He loves dogs and owns several poodles. We only have a P.O. Box no. for him. He is a relative and we would like to visit him. Cheers - Judy Hindman

Sorry I cant help you with that but perhaps ask at the local post office where he has his postal address. They may be able to either send you in the right direction or they may be able to contact him for you.
Good luck.
