Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Firstly the staff, so welcoming. Obviously love what they do! An extremely warm welcome to the town. Full of enthusiasm and energy for everyone who entered. The display of the old Ghan carriage was very interesting. Lots of facts and information about the railways in Peterborough. Well worth a visit

This is amazing. A carriage with air con to keep us warm we did not expect. Fantastic history inside for this carriage and its a credit to all involved. Happy to donate but didn't know where. Keep up the excellent work

I was not impressed that the WiFi didn't work inside or outside the Information Centre and the computer they had next to the entrance 'hadn't worked for ages.' Pathetic. I chose to read whilst my husband went on the guided tour of the museum and the woman came over and turned on the TV which made it difficult to concentrate on my historical book. Also the centre was far too cold so I retired to the warmth of the car.

Thank you for your review, MacLachlan. We apologise there were issues with the internet. If you do decide to come back, please feel free to let our staff know if the Visitor Information Centre is an uncomfortable temperature, or the television is too loud, they are more than willing to assist and like to ensure all our visitors are content. Kind regards, Megan.

we were greeted at the information centre at Peterborough by the most friendly and informative staff we have come across in our travels. They gave us all the info we needed for the area

Lots of information, well laid out, but the highlight was the compartments where you could sit and watch "the rail journey " go past the windows

The visitors information centre staff were great. We purchase the code to go and have a look at a miniture collection at the YMCA which had been built about Peterborough, however when we got there the entry door in to the foyer area had been closed. We contacted the information centre to let them know and one of the staff members drove down to the YMCA to let us in. That to me is real customer service.

We visited this Information Centre recently and found the young female staff member to be very polite, helpful and eager to assist us. We gained great assistance re accommodation and local attractions. The centre itself has plenty to look at and ponder over. The train exhibitions are excellent for those interested in the railway history. A quality information centre and one of the best in S.A. that we came across.

Staff so welcoming and knowledgeable about what is on offer within Peterborough and surrounds. Bob the dog statue was beautiful, the short film experience in the railway carriage in the centre of town so realistic, great work. A must do visit to find all the hidden gems in Peterborough.

An important requirement when travelling is fuel for vehicles. Would you please display all fuel outlet locations in the town with if possible fuel prices. We filled our vehicle at the garage in the back street ( run by a councillor ) it was the cheapest in town at the time. The garage needs supporting more than the big fuel companies who have a monopoly on fuel. A simple display outside your building would do. Thanks. You have a great town.

Would you please give directions and details of the miniature railway display in the newsagent/post office. This is another great place to spend an hour or two watching the trains and looking at other items. It's free to visit. Well worth entering as it adds to the train theme of the town. A must see.

Sorry, we left there a while ago & I’ve just noticed question. It was in the newsagent in the Main Street. On the left as you go into the shop. Hope this is not too late for you. Was brilliant.

Do you happen to have a physical address (not a P.O. Box no.) for a Peter Hindman who lives in Peterborough, S.A.? He loves dogs and owns several poodles. We only have a P.O. Box no. for him. He is a relative and we would like to visit him. Cheers - Judy Hindman

Sorry I cant help you with that but perhaps ask at the local post office where he has his postal address. They may be able to either send you in the right direction or they may be able to contact him for you.
Good luck.
