Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It is large wetland off the Murray River, good quiet to walk through trial and catwalks, seen many different birds seen, plenty of redgum trees, lignum bushes, samphire landscape plants and australian grass. With three good modern unisex toilet over there.
When we walked back to carpark it was awful to hear some highway tractors towing three bbb trailers they screaming and big engines roaring loud through freeway nearby.

Just stunning. I have been to Murray Bridge a few times & stayed. This time I brought my mountain bike. Wow, what a treat, stunning riding on the dirt tracks around swap & river. I stayed again at A La Folly, great place & they are right on the track. I cycled from there into Murray Bridge.

A lovely peaceful place to stroll for a while. It's just off Princes Highway - follow the road until you are almost under the bridge. Plenty of parking.
Wander along the boardwalks quietly and you will see plenty of birds, close by or in the distance across the water.
Seats are placed along the way and there is a covered seating area suitable for a picnic.
The bird hide is a great viewing spot.

Great place for a walk, some exercise or just relaxing with family and friends. Fishing also good, but mainly Carp now. Great for a walk as is close to my parents home.

I live near Murray Bridge and only recently discovered this place. Well set up and a secret oasis with surviving wetlands and birdlife. Well worth a visit.

nice pit stop just off the hwy with boardwalk and birdhide. You need to turn left off hwy on melbourne bound side just after bridge. The sealed road than takes you too unsealed road which runs along hwy and than under bridge

The Swanport wetlands are among the last natural wetlands in the Murray Lower Lakes region.

There is a tricky access road from the nearby lookout. Look for the signpost to the wetlands.

The wetlands have numerous birds, native plants, trees and animals. A well-constructed boardwalk over areas which flood. Clever smartphone Q-coded signs provide YouTube information..internet access required. There is a bird hide. Nice photo points. Toilets, interpretive signage and picnic shelter.

Recommended.
