Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This was an unexpected delight. Easy to locate and park at in Bowman Ave, this hike is expertly laid out with great thought. Terrific signposting and seating. Lush flora and occasional fauna. Just a brilliant walk. We finished one walk in 45 minutes only to bounce into WALK 2. Another half an hour then cross the road to WALK 3! And so on. Take plenty of water and allow several hours. Its an easy, level hike in the most wondrous setting. Well maintained. A true secret location to put on the map. DO IT!

Quite an easy and quick walking trail.

Went with my little children- ages 3 to 7 and they could all do it.

We spent around 20 minutes doing the walk and then sat down and enjoyed the scenario.

All up the stop took around 50 minutes

This walk is around the outskirts of Meningie so is very accessible from several parts of town. No requirement to do the whole walk, you are able to step on/off the walk in a few places. Approx 6 kms for the entire walk, it incorporates a smaller loop walk that has a surface suitable for prams.
The walk is easy going & takes you through a few terrains, most surfaces sandy or gravelly. Shrubs, mallees, ground covers, grass trees; we saw correas and banksias in flower, sundews and some orchids starting to appear. The track includes the lookout.
We did it on a very wintry, windy, cold day and were quite protected from the elements.
Signage is a little inconsistent but you are close to town at all times so not hard to work out.
Recommended for a very pleasant 1-2 hours.
