First time I have been here and what a beautiful place. Started with Wine tasting with the Staff very knowledgeable about their wines. Other family members tried a variety of Whiskey, Sherry and one other. Then there was the beautiful meal, I usually have dessert but so full, had to give it a miss. Highly recommend going here, the views of the vines were so relaxing to look at while we ate.

We went for the feed me degustation lunch menu and it was amazing $79 pp there was so much food and it was so delicious, quite unexpected, the service too was awesome. We also bought wine that we had tasted ( not included in the menu) but that too was really good, highly recommended and especially as there are so many choices at McLaren Vale. We also took food home as there was so much.

We had a fantastic tasting and experience at Angove Winery.
The staff were so knowledgeable and helpful. We were a family of 8 adults on 2 tables, one for the boys and one for the girls.
Michela and Julien were our hosts on our 2 tables, they were both wonderful, and they explained the wines well, and helped make our experience so much fun!
I can thoroughly recommend Angove winery to anyone looking for a great experience and really good wines. Especially the wines.
Our family all agreed at the end of our time exploring McLaren Vale, The Barossa Valley and Adelaide Hills, that Angove was a stand out for the best winery we visited.
Thank you Michela and Julien for a wonderful experience.
We have received our wines and now look forward to enjoying them.
Cheers from the Smith Family :)

We were very impressed by the English born fellow who hosted us on Saturday, February 29th. He was well informed and kept a good flow of banter up whilst explaining what he was pouring. We ended up buying some port which I thought was splendid.

Excellent Winery. I recommend (despite very limited tasting ability) the Shiraz and the Tempranillo, which we tasted in the flight. Ask for Juls, he was amazing. So knowledgeable, friendly, kind, enthusiastic, Professional. Hope you get a chance to enjoy his service too.

Winner of best vineyard view, this cellar door is set in a stunning location. Staff made us feel welcome and at ease, allowing us to relax and take our time soaking in the gorgeous surroundings while enjoying their lovely wines. Cheese platter was the perfect accompaniment.

On Friday 13 November.
I’m really disappointed with the staff, they treated me differently to my friend Mark, because the staff were indirect racism towards Mark just because he has a different race and darker skin. They should’ve respect Mark better and respect me too. Mark and I went there by bike from Adelaide.
I’m disappointed with this second winery Angove McLaren Vale.
The first winery Shingleback was far better and nicer staff and nicer people. Shingleback Is very good.

We visited back in December and Jackson taught us all about the vineyard and its history. Enjoyed all the wines we sampled, were lucky to have live music playing and tasted some delicious food. Took a bottle of sherry cask whisky home to England with us that has been enjoyed by many. Will come and visit again on our next trip to Oz.

Mandy had to be the most rude and obnoxious person I have ever met. She went out of her way to ensure we had a terrible time. Would not recommend this place to anyone. The one star is only cause i cannot give zero stars.

With respect, we do not agree with your sentiment. Under Liquor Licensing laws, a business with a liquor licence is required to uphold Responsible Service of Alcohol protocols and not to serve intoxicated people. All of our staff are well trained in the responsible service of alcohol and it is for the safety and best interest of all customers and staff members that we adhere to its principles. It means we operate in a safe, respectful and friendly environment and our customer experience is not adversely affected by intoxicated people. We understand from the tour bus operator your group engaged, that your wine tour was cut short due to inappropriate behaviour. We are sorry that your day didn’t eventuate as you may have intended, however Mandy handled the situation as she is required to under the law, professionally and with respect.

What a lovely experience! We had just come from D'Arenburg's and we were very pleasantly surprised. After been member at Darry's for years we had a very poor experience but Angove's made up for it. They do a great tasting with nibbles, really friendly staff and great wines. We were so impressed we signed up to be members.
Give the Fiano a go - simply delicious.
