About
After 129 years of family winemaking, our lifeblood endures through the earth and vines of Pirramimma. Family owned and estate grown, we are committed to making the best possible wines from the exceptional resources we have on hand. Few families have had a longer or more honourable association with South Australia. As one of McLaren Vale’s oldest remaining family-owned winery, Pirramimma benefits from a rich history and intimate knowledge of the land, passed down through four generations.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We visited today for the first time in a very long time and were delighted to be greeted by a friendly, knowledgeable new face behind the bar. The wines are great, and always good value, but previous customer service experiences involving a different (also female) staff member left us vowing never to return. Today was a totally different experience in the best possible way.

We love the Gilded Lilly merlot but hate the horrible customer service at the cellar door. Never ever going back.

Absolutely a must to visit and saviour these delicious quality wines, while you are visiting the hidden secrets of the McLaren Vale region.
They are sensational! Pirramimma have recently won yet another award in the prestigious European wine competitions against wines from all over the world, just one taste will tell you why!
They have such an excellent range of magnificent reds it is hard to decide which and just how of much each superb wine to buy.
Set in a century old style working winery with sprawling vineyards dotting across the picture perfect landscape.
Perfect for an afternoon drive and temptation for your tastebuds.
For a lark pick up their golfers game improver, an old fashioned 50's style of fortified wine, once known as port!
It too is perfect to sip by the fire after enjoying their fabulous wines.
