A hidden gem
Aug. 2021
Due to some recent rain, there was flowing water amongst the granite boulders, and cascading all the way from the top area near the top carpark (where there are great views), down to the bottom flatter area alongside the aptly named Reedy Creek. There are some basic toilets at the bottom carpark also. You can walk as far or as little as you want, but sturdy non slip shoes are best. If one wanted to walk all the way from the top to the bottom and back (or vice versa), it could well be several hours worth. The thing that turned us around was the number of man eating mosquitoes near the start of the bottom section, so we plan to return with some effective repellant, water and picnic supplies. The landscape is quite unusual and a little unexpected. A hidden gem.

Well worth visiting
Feb. 2021
They are not really waterfalls (just marketing spin) but a set of pools and billabongs. Its a interesting place to visit as its full of trees and birdlife (also saw a black snake). Its quite different to the surrounding area due to the water and rock formations. It would be good to visit in winter after a good rain to see the water flowing.

Mannum Waterfalls a hidden gem
Oct. 2020
Mannum Waterfalls is not known by a lot of people but it is worth checking out. Even though when we visited there wasn't any water cascading over the falls the views were beautiful. There are two carparks one at the top end and one at the bottom both easy accessible to the trail. The walk can be difficult in areas (and gets the cardio going) but well worth it. The good news is there are seats located along the way. There are also toilet facilities located near the bottom carpark at the start of the trail.
Don't forget to take your camera.

Beautiful place to visit
Oct. 2020
We never miss a chance to come out to the falls. From the first car park its a lovely walk for most, from the second carpark it is a very steep walk down to the falls, able bodied will find first car park easier. Allow one hour for a good walk around the falls

Nature walk
Dec. 2019 • Couples
Went to waterfalls as part of an excursion from Proud Mary River Cruise.

As there has been little rain we were told that there would be no waterfall but walk would be interesting. It was very interesting as our guide explained the vegetation and rock formations.

The walk itself was good but you must be careful in certain areas as ground is a bit loose.

Interesting walk.

There was no water flowing during our visit but nevertheless there is a lovely walk through this reserve with spectacular granite rock formations.

Commune with nature
Aug. 2019
A relatively easy walk to the falls along a well defined track, but I would recommend comfortable enclosed footwear. Now don't expect a 'Niagara" experience, 'cause you'll be disappointed, but the topography and related photo opportunities are many. Plenty of variety in the vegetation and birdlife along the way with rest points at various locations.
However it is a 'track' so please remain aware of where you place your feet - some of the stones are quite slippery.

A great walk with a group
Aug. 2019
The falls didn't have much water flowing but the walk was still very well worthwhile doing. It is not an easy walk but some of our group who had walking sticks still managed it with a bit of help.

Nice place for a stroll!

Parked at the bottom car park and walked the trail to the falls. Even though we had plenty of rain it was a shame there was no water running. Still a nice place to visit.

Plenty of interesting rock pools
Jul. 2019 • Couples
This very scenic and peaceful rocky area is about 10 km from town. We went to the upper car park where it’s easier to walk down but there are no toilets there. If you have problems on steep slopes, it’s perhaps best to view the area from above in the upper car park. Although it was the middle of winter, we only saw trickles of flow but lots of interesting rock pools.
