About
From 2002 to 2018 our winery and cellar door was in the Old Woollen Mill in Lobethal. In 2018 we moved to our vineyard which is halfway between Lobethal and Lenswood on the main road. We set up our winery in the old machinery shed and we had a pop up cellar door in a shipping container whilst we built our new cellar door. In December 2019 we were devastated by the Cudlee Creek Bushfire - Over 90% of the vineyard was burnt, our winery (together with all our wine) was lost, and there was a lot of other damage. But the Phoenix is rising! Easter 2021 we opened our new eco - sustainable, zero net carbon, cellar door. This has magnificent views over the upper Onkaparinga Valley, and we offer tastings and sales of our "hope!" wine range, and now once again a selection of our own 100% estate grown wines. Internationally awarded Italian Master Pizza Chef Enrico Sgarbossa serves up authentic Italian starters, pizzas, pastas and Gelati Friday nights and weekends.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This was our little gem find on our r4ecent trip to the Adelaide Hills.
Wines were awesome, service was fantastic and the pizza was superb.
Definitely worth a stop, especially if you like to get away from the bigger, more commercial wineries.

We have visited Tilbrook Estate twice now where we have enjoyed the wine and will continue to return for Enrico's world class pizza. Today we also enjoyed a pizza masterclass learning about dough making and the science of high quality pizza. Enrico is such a humble and passionate man and we learned all his tips to making the best pizza possible. I could not recommend dining here enough and also attending a class to learn all the secrets. World class view and world class pizza!

Absolutely beautiful estate, greeted by the most wonderful owners who made sure we were looked after! Treated with one of the best pizza’s I’ve had in SA, and even spoke with the lovely chef. Ended the afternoon with a Shiraz and dark chocolate gelato - the best way to spend a Saturday! Absolutely no faults with this place, nicely tucked away in the beautiful hills!

If you enjoy genuine Italian pizza followed by a fresh salad made with local ingredients, washed down with quality wine, this eco cellar door is the place for you. We come here regularly to enjoy the food and wine, friendly atmosphere and beautiful setting. The food is delicious and very reasonably priced. Suits a couple or small party or a large one.

Lovely setting. Modern winery rebuilt after fires 2 years ago. Excellent pizzas. Good wine. Markup only $5 with lunch. Definitely worth a visit.
