Great fun for young and old
Jan. 2021
I visited with my 5 year old son on our way out of Hahndorf, unsure what it would be like. I was pleasantly surprised. Lots of animals, perfectly maintained facilities and friendly staff. The cow milking is not to be missed. My son loved feeding the lambs. I adored the ponies. The goats were hilarious and the donkeys were beautiful.

It was the highlight of our road trip!

Great experience but a bit overpriced
Oct. 2020 • Family
We took our toddler here and she loved it! They have a fantastic range of animals from reptiles to large animals like camels.

There was an indoor section which included petting pens where you could go in and pat the animals, our daughter loved this.

Then you can wander outside through an enclosure with a range of animals including turkeys, deer and ducks. You can also purchase food to feed some animals like the miniature ponies, donkeys and goats.

They also offer tractor rides and pony rides.

I do think it is overpriced though. It cost us $49.50 for myself, my husband and our 22month old daughter. This included a little bag of animal food which we probably didnt need as there was that many carrots laying around in the paddocks!
But our daughter certainly enjoyed it, would still recommend!

A great park to visit with young children
Mar. 2020 • Family
Took 2 & 4 yo. Great hands on experience for young ones to roam at their own pace. Pat & feed small animals carrot or pellets. Animals look very well cared for and have space to roam. Lovely young girl took the children for a pony ride for$5 a ticket. Thank you all.

Got to experience
Jan. 2020 • Family
Got to milk a cow for the first time in our lives during one of the farm’s show! Was such an experience.
Also got to get up close to other farm animals such as deers, kangaroos, goose, sheep and cows.
You can also purchase a tractor ride which was we felt was worth it. We got to ride around the farm and what a view it was.

Great day out
Jan. 2020 • Family
What a great place to bring young kids and for them to get up close with animals, we had a lovely day out. The team were really informative and our children came away learning so much whilst having fun. We had to stop my daughter trying to smuggle a gorgeous Guinea pig home 😆

Expensive for what's on offer.

Suitable for families with very young children as they wouldn't become easily bored. Not much to see and do.

Unique experience for city girl

The admission fee is only A$16 and I can take public bus to go there. It’s a convenient location, near the German village (Hahndorf). I did not only feed alpaca, goats and Suffolk sheep, and also saw a peacock, emu, ostrich, camel, cows and deers.

Farm Barn Visit
Jan. 2019
The Hahndorf Farm Barn is the most exciting place for families, school groups and just everyone in general. Plenty of animals to see and touch. Lambs to feed, ponies to ride, calves to touch and heaps to cuddle.

Small family run farm where children can have a hands on experience feeding small farm animals and pets. A number of shows including milking and reptile show. Disappointing that they charge an extra $5 for a pony ride and $5 each for a tractor ride.

Farm Experience
Jul. 2019 • Family
My kids had a great time at the farm barn. Definitely a place for all ages. We bottle fed the lambs and milked the cow. The show was entertaining and informing. We patted reptiles and had fed kangaroos, an emu, a donkey, cows and goats. The kids play area had guinea pigs, lambs and a calf, baby goats, chickens and ducks. My daughter loved the pony rides an there were tractor rides as well. Allow enough time to see everything 👍🏼
