Very interesting historical displays and artworks as well as current artworks on display and for sale. A great range of locally made jewellery, cards, clothing etc which is artistic and a great souvenir of your visit without being a kitch souvenir.

For an interesting history lesson into the early settlers of this district, you must visit this building, and learn what uses it has had over the last 150 plus years.

The window display will definitely make you want to go into the shop. The whole shop smells great from the candles and german incense. They sell german-made decorations and toys. Very beautiful. The owners are very friendly and approachable.

Clever artworks in several spaces. Would have liked to see larger exhibitions and more information about the artists and the Academy.

Very interesting place to visit with plenty of great artwork from local artists. Featuring Sir Hans Heysen works. Also a lot of pottery works on display. Easy walking distance to various food outlets

There is a shop with an eclectic collection of goods. A museum houses jbter sting artefacts from early Hahndorf & a gallery of paintings by Hans Heysen. Out back is stories of German... More

A lovely old Hahndorf building that incorporates a gallery, museum and information centre. If this is your first stop up here pop in to speak with the friendly volunteers who will set you on your way making the most of your visit. The museum is ideal as it sets the scene by displaying Hahndorfs' early history that will give insight... More
