Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Now the river has gone down its a great area to visit if staying in Berri. Very peaceful setting for a picnic and swimming in the hot times. Great to though the rod out and hopefully catch a NICE fish. Plenty of lawn areas and places for children to play and enjoy country life.

The local community and Lions club have done a great job restoring the wetlands. The loop took us one hour and its a nice walk with view of the river and wetlands. Lots of bird life and its great to see the trees and shrubs thriving.

After a day of driving in 35+ degrees this is an oasis.

Caretaker is friendly and advised of best spot to set up.

BBQ's very clean, plenty of seating near BBQ'S. BBQ's have covers and are also undercover.

Plenty of spaces to pull into. Flushing toilets, water but not for drinking.

Can swim in the river.

Dogs are welcome but must be on a leash.

Great value for $5 per night. Call caretaker before setting up or before arriving.

This camp spot was $5per night, with spotless amenities, no showers tho. Great walks nearby, lots of pelikins on Murray and at the time green grass.

We come here very often. Great for boating and relaxing. Picnic spots are the best in the area. Clean bathrooms.

The Martin’s Bend Reserve is a very pleasant walk from the town of Berri.
It takes you to a lovely picnic spot where camping is also available.

I didn't stay there but did a nice walk on lovely wide and well maintained dirt track. Ver shaded for most of it. When you get to Martins Bend, it is like an oasis with green grass, trees and BBQ and old stone tables and seats and shelter area. Lovely free camping area (or nearly at $5 night with maximum of 21 nights. Nice spot with gum trees to park a caravan or pitch a tent. Has a dump point and some flushing toilets.
Need to take your own water as the water there not for drinking.
