Do not need much time to go through the museum. Interesting area out the back where there are old trains and living accommodation. Given headphones but they keep cutting out all the time.

Went in with high hopes. Something like $24,000,000. The audio kept cutting in and out. The displays for the size and height of building were minimal. Underwhelmed and took under a hour. Could not recommend as value at all. Very dissappointed.

Enjoyed going through this centre. New building is beautiful just can’t help but wonder how much they lost in the fire. Audio phones need a little work but it only opened 1wk ago. Staff very friendly.

We went to the opening and were stunned by the beauty of the building and the high standard of the exhibition. The billabong in the centre is amazing telling its different stories and the interactive displays are state of the art. The cafe makes great...More

The rebuilt Waltzing Matilda Centre is due to re-open with a music festival over 19-22 April 2018. When we were there on Sunday the workmen were still at it trying to get it completed so it looks as though it may be a close-run thing....More
