Wine Discovery Tours provides a personalised tour of the unique Granite Belt wine region, with a focus on customer service, luxury and comfort. Enjoy tasting the distinctive wines of the Granite Belt, while taking in the beautiful landscape and learning a little about what makes this region unique. Relax, unwind in comfort and leave the driving to us. Our class leading Volkswagen Multivan has seating for 6 passengers with tri-zone air conditioning, tinted windows and dual wide-access doors, ensuring a spacious and comfortable ride. Enjoy a great day out with friends, or surprise someone special with an intimate tour just for two.

Okay we are massive fans of red wine have been for years. Imagine hearing about a spectacular wine region in Queensland that you honestly didn’t know existed. Well that’s how we came to stay in the Granite Belt. We were driven around the magnificent area by Jeff from Wine Discovery Tours. This is an absolute must. The wine tastings were amazing and extremely generous, hence why Wine Discovery Tours was so important to a fantastic day. Jeff was so informative and helpful, a true proud man of the region he resides in. We managed 4 wineries a beautiful lunch and purchased many delicious wines that will be enjoyed by us and friends!! Many thanks Jeff for your hospitality today we were truly grateful to have just a passionate and influential person to guide us today. We will be back Jeff, thanks again

Fantastic local wine tour personalised to your tastes. Looked after by the very knowledgeable Geoff and Simon. Picked up and dropped off at our accommodation fabulous lunch included. Loved it !!! We will be back. Highly recommended!

Cindy and Simon provided great assistance and information leading up to our trip. As it was a private tour, they were able to tailer the tour to what we wanted to see. Cindy was out host for the day and took us to some lovely spots for sight seeing and great wine tasting.
Would highly recommend Wine Discovery Tours and hope to get back to see their cellar door when finished.

Our group of 4 had an excellent day with Cindy and Wine Discovery Tours. We visited many quality wineries, with friendly and informative cellar door staff. Plus, due to Cindy’s great local knowledge and willingness to make our day interesting, we also a visited beautiful apple orchard with cakes, coffee and ciders, the magical Christmas shop, Stanthorpe Cheeses for a great cheese tasting, the rainbow coloured liqueur castle, the atmospheric Granite Belt Brewery and Jamworks for tasty condiments.
Plus a delicious lunch with matching wines at the Queensland College of Wine Tourism.
It made the day more like a gourmet food and wine tour! But even though we did so much, it was all very relaxed and we never once felt rushed, thanks to Cindy’s genuine friendliness and desire for every to have a great day.
Cindy is passionate about wine making and promoting the Granite Belt wineries and the region to visitors. Her excellent knowledge of all the processes involved , as she is also a wine grower herself, added another level to,our understanding of the area.
We will leave Stanthorpe with great memories of this day. Thank you Cindy :)

Amazing day exploring the granite belt wine region. Tony our driver was lovely and friendly, and not once did we feel rushed. A great selection of wineries, lunch at the college was also delicious. 10/10 day

I can not speak highly enough of this company.
I have had the pleasure of using them twice now, two years apart and Cindy remembered everything from where we went to my wine preferences too.
First day lucky me had a solo trip with Cindy on a Friday, it was just perfect, even dropped into my accommodation to drop off bags, move car and check on fire.
I thoroughly enjoyed my day with Cindy, absolutely amazing hostess.
Saturday with the amazing Jeff, what a beautiful, caring and knowledgeable man. Even checked on my fire when dropping me home.
I enjoyed the company of four lovely Brisbane residents and Jeff took extremely good care of all of us.
I highly recommend you use this company as you will not be disappointed. An amazing team.

Jeff was definitely the “host with the most” - ensuring our group was well cared for at each of the wineries, cheese factory & brewery we visited and also made sure our group was keeping to time 😊👍 We had a very informative tour, it was perfect! Lunch at Varias (colab between USQ & Qld dept of Small business, employment & training) was delicious! Thanks so much for a great day out!!

Today was my 2nd tour with this group and again they excelled. Cindy was an amazing host that made sure we had the perfect day. We visited vineyards, cheese factory, boutique breweries, so much fun and we learnt so much. Highly recommend this tour.

Does the day tour include lunch and all tastings and if so start and finish time of day tour.
Cost for full day tour and half day tour if available.

Yes, all tastings and lunch are included and from memory we paid $120 each I think but don't quote me. I don't think a half day tour is offered and I couldn't see the value of it personally because it takes in quite a few kilometres and you wouldn't want to rush this day - it flies past quickly believe me.
