Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Better wines in the area.
Quality poor.
Charge of $20 just to have a few tastings.
Did not find a wine worth the prices charged.

Best reds on the Granite Belt. Grant the wine maker, a retired chemical engineer, is meticulous. Premium wines so don't be put off by the price.

We absolutely loved this winery and felt very welcomed by Grant - we learned such a lot and have a new appreciation for what vintners have to contend with to bring us their beautiful wines. We found it hard to choose - so many lovely wines!

Went on a wine / beer tour with a group of 13. 4 of us decided not to do the $10 wine tasting and were treated like outcasts because we didn't wish to do the tasting. We were rudely told, if you do not wish to participate in the tasting you can go outside. So we left like naughty children sent from the classroom to sit on a hot bus while the other sat indoors to do the tasting. A very poor experience for us. and this is not what we would expect when we had paid a tour company to take us around. Customer service here NIL. None of the other wineries had been like this.

Best wine experience in Stanthorpe. The wines were excellent, owners very knowledgeable. Time spent there was fantastic and the highlight of our day and we will be returning.

We experienced cold weather and rain when visiting this winery. Fortunately we were welcomed by Sonia and her husband with a warm fire. How great was this! My husband had forgotten to pack a jacket, but, Sonia found him a jacket and told him to keep it till we could acquire one. We did eventually start the tasting and as my husband said there’s a jumper in every sip. So grateful for the kindness. Of course, the wines were excellent.

Thank you Sonia and Grant & a Very Merry Christmas. 🤶🎅🥂🍾

Despite the fact that review says I was on my own, I was actually with my parents enjoying a weekend away at Stanthorpe, and went to a wine tasting at Mount Hutton Winery. My father enjoyed many of the wines there, but I was partial to the 2018 Pinot Gris. I quite enjoy the taste of this wine. All the different wines here are nice, however each person has their favourite.

This must be on your Granite Belt wine tour! From the picturesque, rural setting to the incredible (aged) wines to the great company that is Grant Casley, the owner... this vineyard is just the best! The 2010 Shiraz was our favourite- but they’re all fantastic.
