Website states open from 10am - 4pm. Considering it’s based in NSW we went by that time. Arriving at 10am to find that it’s closed with a sign out the front saying ‘we run on QLD time’ and therefore didn’t open for another hour. This is not stated anywhere online. Very disappointing

Going to Aloomba Lavender is like going to visit your favourite aunt. Terri is a very special talented lady.
I stayed in my RV Miss Daisy with my 2 furbabies for several nights with some friends in their vans.
Beautiful areas to walk the dogs and laze about beside a large camp fire at night.
Wander up to shop. Drink coffee or tea. Eat and eat and eat scones and other yummies. Great gift shop.
Really awesome place to stay or just visit for coffee and a treat.

A good place to visit for a lovely Lavender scone and coffee. The Lavender wasn't flowering while we were there. Plenty of Lavender products for sale. A warning though, the drive from Stanthorpe is quite a long one, even crossing back into the good old state of NSW

Our second visit, and this time we stayed a couple of nights in the B&B to enjoy more of Peter and Tere's company. Yes, yes the Lavender is fine, smells great, café serves good coffee and yummy home-made cakes, gift shop is packed with interesting, useful and fragrant stuff, etc. etc. but what really makes the Lavender Farm a place not to be missed is the people! As somebody else has commented: "Tere is a gem"; we'd agree and say she's a hoot! Our stay happened to coincide with a visit by 40+ historic cars and their 80+ drivers and passengers, Peter and Tere and assorted grandsons served them all with freshly-made scones with jam and whipped cream and the whole gathering were entertained by Tere's robust sense of humour and by her illuminating talk on all things lavender. Priceless!

I was really looking forward to visiting the lavender farm and enjoying scones and tea. But we were quite disappointed, while the setting is beautiful the cafe/gift shop is tired and could do with an update.
On arrival there was a very friendly dog in the door way, but a musty smelling dining area that wasn’t very inviting. We walked through to the gift shop and found a large selection of things to purchase. There was a gorgeous and friendly cat in the gift shop but after seeing him jump onto a dining table and a bench in the kitchen (not great look) and one of us being highly allergic to cats we had to give the scones and tea a miss.

I would be very interested in any helpful advice on how I could update. It may be of interest to readers of the reviews that I am 75 and still working 7 days a week with only Christmas Day and February as a break. I also make many of the products. Please also remember that there may not be the finance available to upgrade to the standard you have in the city.

I am a bit late leaving this review but better late than never. I went with a bus load from the Tenterfield area and we were treated to Tere's unique sense of humor while she recounted how the farm became established.
We all enjoyed a most delicious meal and then visited the gift shop which is full of all sorts of wonderful gifts. Lucky they have card facilities as I had a good spend up, the value for money really impressed me.
It is a bit of a hike to reach the place but you would have to be hard to please if you didn't enjoy your visit.

On a sunny mormijng we skipped breakfast and set out to explore a lavendar farm. As we arrived we wound down the windows to allow the beautiful smell of lavendar to waft in. Upon arrival we found a door and hesitated to walk in as it was somebody's home. (I see the same confusion when i read through the previous reviews so perhaps something could be done here...sign to walk in or something) So, we walked in to find a messy kitchen and a lounge room so jam packed with chairs and tables it would be a squeeze for anybody to sit. Still nobody around but we saw a sign with the menu of tea, coffee, scones. We walked on through to the gift shop where a quaint and gorgeous lady met us. I was surprised the shop sold only a few items of local produce but i bought some lavendar chocolates which were nice. So we asked about scones...was told there was no way the lady serving us would make scones but there were some freshly made ones in the freezer. I would have thought if the only thing on the menu was scones they could have been fresh. Being a bed and breakfast, i was also surprised..no breakfast items on menu...it was ok though since there were already dirty saucepans on stove. So we found a portion of a table which the lady put a fresh cloth on, looked at cream and declared she might need to whip up a fresh batch. Hmmm...i had been hoping for freshness all round. I was to be truly disappointed then to find the scones had been baked in October, 3 months earlier. Whilst I agree scones can be frozen, i had taken the long drive out for fresh scones and there was not even any attempt to pretend they were fresh.
This farm has a beautiful outlook with a stunning setting. The scenery is to die for. That could be worth a trip in itself. Even the gorgeous garden in front of the house is breathtaking. Yet the presentation of the shop front and the fact the only menu item was so disappointing left us wondering what we had walked into. I would suggest a general tidy up...take the junk off the kitchen benches, take some of the chairs and tables out, wash up after breakfast..i would suggest celebrating the first day of any month by throwing out old scones and cooking fresh... especially if you are going to tell guests when they were cooked... have less outside merchandise in shop especially if its dearer than elsewhere... and have gift shop outside if you dont want to make inside inviting... you could even light a scented candle with yummy cooking smells...it would certainly mask the breakfast the customer missed out on. Very disappointed with scone experience but totally overwhelmed by beauty of farm.

Very friendly, lovely lavender ice-cream, also many gifts available from the giftshop and cafe.
Also has a camping ground (caravan accessible road ) away from the hustle and bustle, showers and power at a small fee.

Nice place to stop wander and have am tea and coffees. Very friendly owner, Tere. Shes good fun and chatty, knitting squares for charity, minding shop and baking. Try lavender scones so soft and fresh. Her son in the shed discussed the processing and distilling to us. Well worth a visit and wander. Good time to visit in end Nov harvesting time.

No entrance fee. However tours might be extra and would need to be rebooked. Cafe is lovely. Camping there even better
