Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

So many beautiful handmade items - definitely worth a visit. Gorgeous handmade jewellery, baby clothes, bags, bakery items, lotions and potions etc. Vendors were all lovely and it had a good vibe. Also paintings, wooden and metal items and the fresh fruit and vegetables looked divine. Most vendors accepted cards but some were cash only.

This market is located in a large permanent pavillion at the showground. There were lots of stalls selling craft, jewellery, paintings, photography, cakes and savoury items. There was also a cafe selling food and coffees. An entertainer was singing a number of John Denver songs. We purchased a kitchen hand towel and some tasty biscotti. There were fewer people there than I would have expected but it still had a nice vibe.

Although a small market, it packs a punch with a mix of home made baked goods, creative artistry in wood, metal, photos and the like. You can find a one off item that will add a unique experience to your visit to Stanthorpe. We loved the ginger and fig jam, home made biscuits and cannoli rolls. There is an onsite cafe, but the real gems are found in the market stalls where you can support the local vendors who are friendly and have great artisan talents.
