We had superb views looking over the lake to the mountain ranges. In the evening the cows came right up to the fence . It was wonderful. The service is friendly and the complimentary wine 🍷 is a nice touch. I ordered a cheese platter and really loved the local products offered. The accommodation is appropriately priced, with your own car port , verandah, air con and combustion stove. Very clean with Mor bath products. Will definitely be recommending to friends and family.HI NothingwithEyes68, thank you for taking the time to leave your review. That's lovely that you had a lovely stay with your beautiful pooch! That's great that you enjoyed the views our estate has to offer and that you enjoyed the newest addition to our estate (the cows). We appreciate that you found our service friendly and that you enjoyed the local products that we provide on our cheese platters. - Lachlan R158 contributionsPerfect location just outside of town with friendly staffWe were so excited to stay at ridgemill estate in a studio cabin overlooking the vineyard. The staff were very accommodating and organised a cheese platter for us at late notice at closing time! The room was tidy and the continential breakfast included local produce. They also catered for gluten free! The only tiny recommendations that we would make would be that the cleaners look up when they clean the rooms, there was some spider webs/spiders in the corners or the room near the shutters and the toilet seat in our cabin was old and worn. We will be back!Hi lockmr, thank you for taking the time to leave your review! That's lovely to hear that you found the staff accommodating - we are always more than happy to help our guests out whether is be making up a cheese platter or catering to dietary needs! I'll be sure to pass on to our dedicated house keeping team your kind words in regards to how tidy the room was for you. We appreciate your recommendation - I'll be sure to pass this on and have the issues with the spider webs recitified! We're excited to have you back for another visit in the future! We stayed in the accommodation at this winery so of course we did a wine tasting while we were there. It was late in the afternoon and we were some of the last customers. It had been busy when we had checked in early but they had social distancing protocols in place.
Marissa hosted the tasting and found a sweet white that I liked. My husband found a few reds that impressed him. Well worth a visit.

Hi MarjofromBrissie!
So glad you enjoyed a wine tasting with us during your stay. It's so convenient as you can just walk back to your cabin to relax afterwards. Marissa, our cellar door manager would have offered you our Moggies, which is our sweet, fruity white, a delicious drop, perfect to accompany a scrumptious cheese platter. Do please come and visit us again soon.!!

Absolutely fantastic tasting. Tara was lovely, very entertaining and knowledgeable about each and every wine we tasted. Tasting is $10, but free if you buy wine. Ended up walking out with about 10 bottles, the white port was my favourite, but all the bottles named after the grand kids were close seconds.
Annnddddd we got to feed goats. Absolutely fantastic.

Hi kristenj332, thank you for taking the time to leave your review on your wine tasting experience with Tara. We think Tara is lovely too! You'll have to come back for another cellar door visit once your wine stocks run out and to feed the goats again - I'm sure they loved that too! We will see you then. Hayley - Guest Relations Team

This was a beautiful estate filled with beautiful people. The lady who served us was very knowledgeable about the wines, grapes and regions where they are made. The wine tasting is well varied and reasonably priced. The views at the Ridge are stunning 🤩
Well worth a visit to taste these gorgeous wines in a warm and welcoming environment.

We loved our stay at Ridgemill Estate.
The cabin was very cosy with the wood burner going, very comfortable bed and lounge, and all the amenities you need for your stay.
The short walk to the cellar door made for a relaxing afternoon tasting great wine and enjoy great conversation with the hostess and fell guests.
Thanks Ridgemill for a very memorable holiday.

Ridgemill Estate was the perfect base for a fantastic weekend exploring the great wineries of the Granite Belt. The team were welcoming, the accommodation (3 bed /2 bath house) provided a lovely country retreat with great amenities including a fire place, fun experiences and some excellent wines to taste. We will definitely be back!!

We arrived a bit early and were treated to a nice wine tasting experience while waiting for our room to be ready. Leigh was an excellent hostess. We enjoyed our stay - feeding the goats, riding the bikes around and driving to the Granite Belt brewery for dinner (only a 10 min or so drive away). The cabins were beautifully appointed and very comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the outdoor deck. Thank you for the beautiful bottle of Rose in our room.

We visited here to buy one bottle of wine for dinner & left with a box full of wine.
So friendly, made us feel welcome, no pressure to buy, just happy to talk to you about the wine & area.
We had a lovely young lady serve us, couldn’t fault her.
We then fed the animals for free, which I loved just as much, enjoyed my time there.

Hi YorkShireAussie74!
What a happy occurrence that you ended up with a box of our tasty wines to enjoy on your return home! We here at Ridgemill feel that when we offer you a wine tasting that we are 'sharing the joy'! We also love our animals and are so happy when you enjoy feeding our rambunctious goats or stroking our winery cats. Hope you got some lovely photos with the goats and please come back anytime, they will be very happy to see you!

Despite a rocky start to our getaway (thank you very much Covid), we had to modify our originally booked 3 nights getaway to 2 nights, but I'm glad we were still able to stay.
All of the staff I dealt with via phone and in person at Reception were completely professional, understanding of our situation, but most importantly, 100% friendly and welcoming. They should all be highly commended for their efforts.
The estate, in addition to a great cellar door, has 12 cabins spread across 3 sections of the property. We were placed into one that didn't have a direct view over the vineyard itself, but it was only a short stroll away (200 metres) if we wanted to walk amongst the vines (which we did).
The cabin itself was fantastic. Super comfy bed, a bathroom that is bigger than mine in my own apartment, and a more than adequate kitchenette. The undercover parking space will definitely accommodate most vehicles (including most 4wds), and the small balcony out the front of the cabin allows you to just chill with a drink (or two) after a long day exploring the region.
The complimentary bottle of rosé, cheese board and continental breakfast was also a welcomed addition, and was thoroughly enjoyed.
Would definitely stay again and would not hesitate in recommending it to friends and family for when they want to explore the Stanthorpe region.
