About
Our vineyard was planted in 1999 and since then we have progressively increased our production to meet demand. We are two ex school teachers who made a tree change to the Granite Belt to grow grapes, make wine and open a cellar door. It’s a hands-on operation as all processes are completed by the two of us on site. We skillfully create regional wines that exhibit strong varietal fruit characters.

We had such an excellent experience at Pyramids! The wines are delicious, and the service is even better. It’s such a special touch to be served by the actual wine maker. We highly recommend visiting this winery if you love wine and are interested in how it is made.

Thank you Kirstyn for appreciating the cellar door experience delivered by the winemaker. It is a real treat to have the winemaker serve visitors and there are not many other regions in Australia where you can say that. The Granite Belt is truly a unique wine experience and we look forward to seeing you again at Pyramids Road soon.

We were greeted by a neighbourhood dog who walked us to the door - instant winner. The wine maker & his wife have always made us feel welcome. We go back time & time again. Nothing is too much trouble & even with a full house they find time to make you feel special. Warren's knowledge of wine & the area is second to none which is true of his wines as well. Pyramids Road Wines are a must when exploring the beautiful wineries of the area for the owners, the wine, the fireplace, the local art work &, of course, the welcoming dog.

Sue and Warren are exceptional hosts. They are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about their products. Pyramids Road Wines was our favorite of the 6 wineries we visited recently. Their Shiraz is exquisite, but be sure to check out their blends that they have available.
The cellar door is warm and welcoming, and the wine club very enticing. We became members, and look forward to receiving our wines in future. Sue and Warren are also very supportive of their competition, other boutique wineries that form the magnificent seven. This made us feel very valued as customers, that they also spoke very highly of other wineries as they work to promote the region as a whole.
We will definitely visit the winery on our next visit. My hat goes off to this winery, and I could not recommend a visit enough!

Stumbling upon Pyramids Road Wines was incredible. The winemaker, Warren met us in a humble shed on the property filled with photos and mementos of the Granite Belt wine culture. He poured us tastes of all the wines he had on offer and was one of the most knowledgeable people I’ve met. He explained what causes tasting notes and flavours of the wines as well as helped us understand the chemical structure of a wine. He was also able to recommend other wineries in the region we might enjoy as a result of getting to know us and what we enjoyed.
Must try his Chardonnay, Musc and Cab Sav. Excellent wines.

Thank you for your wonderful review of our winery. We celebrated 20 years of winemaking last year and we still enjoy showing customers our beautiful wines. We like to think that each visit to our cellar door provides the visitor with new wines and some education about how they are made. We visited on a Friday afternoon, a couple were just leaving so we had Warren (owner) all to ourselves. Loved this winery and all the information Warren shared with us.
Great wines at an affordable price! I recommend the 2019 Mourvedre.
We registered on the volunteer list to pick grapes next harvest, what a great experience it will be if we get the opportunity to pick and crush grapes!

What a lovely little boutique winery. When walking through the doors, the owners greeted us and made us feel so welcome. As we were the only ones there, it was lovely to have a quick chat with them.
I loved and bought some of the 2019 Merlot and Cab/Sav, but it was the Bernie's blend that really got me. It was one of my favourite wines of the weekend. Such a nice red. I would of bought a few, except that I had already bought 30 bottles of wine over the weekend and the missus was putting the stoppers on me. I would have got 6 otherwise.
This is a must do winery when in the area. Really friendly and lovely. You can taste the passion and care of the owners love for their craft in the amazing flavors of their wines.

We received a warm welcome and were given a very informative wine tasting. Even though we admitted our knowledge of wine was limited, the proprietor explained the various differences between the grape varieties and we enjoyed sensing all the different flavours. We walked away with a few bottles which we are looking forward to cellaring. Will definitely recommend this winery and we will return.

Warren took the time to explain loads of info to me as we were the only ones there for a while. I was having a dinner party and not only did I buy wine for this event, I sorted some birthday and chrissy presents as well. Support these cellar doors, I love the fact that you're treated like an old friend.

A friend and I visited Pyramids Road Wines a week ago and absolutely loved it! We had a great chat with wine-maker Warren, and thoroughly enjoyed our tasting experience. These guys are part of the Magnificent Seven, a group of wineries which do the whole wine-making experience themselves, from growing the grapes to bottling and selling and everything in between. Warren offered a wealth of knowledge and a friendly chat, and the wines were fabulous! I especially rated the Merlot and Rose. The rose smells like turkish delight and is divine! We'd definitely recommend visiting this vineyard on your next trip to Stanthorpe.

You were very lucky to find the Musc Rose in stock Lisa. This wine sells very quickly and you can see why. That beautiful Turkish delight aroma and a slight sweetness on the palate. Absolutely delicious. Warren is a passionate winemaker and doesn't mind a chat about the things he loves doing. Hope to see you again in 2023.
