Ashbern Farms Stanthorpe grows strawberries from October to May. Pick your own fresh from the patch or choose packed strawberries from the farm shop. Strawberry treats like and coffees are available. Open Fridays Saturdays and Sundays 8-3. Closed on Public Holidays and closed June to September.

Great family experience and the strawberries are to die for. You haven't tasted a strawberry until you have tasted them from Ashbern Farms. You can only pick them and pay by weight, no eating allowed until they have been weighed and paid for. Well worth the premium that you pay for the experience and quality. They have an on site cafe where you can buy ice cream, shakes, drinks, etc...

We'd planned to visit this farm for an icecream well before leaving home in NSW. The strawberry icecream cones did not disappoint! They were fabulous. We also enjoyed sitting outside and viewing the farm which was much bigger than we expected. It seemed to extend as far as we could see. There were a dozen workers - looking tiny in the distance - planting new seedlings for the next season. Lots of fun.

We picked them and ate them right there. Yum. Also delicious strawberry smoothie. Panoramic views of the strawberry fields. Left there feeling this was a very nice experience.

Very limited opening hours..When we finally got there..Not very welcoming unfortunately..not even a sign to show which shed door to enter..
Was people there..but no one was interested in talking to us..
It was absolutely nothing like we expected..only thing on the menu was a brownie & ice cream (which was really nice) but definitely not the morning tea we had planned from the ads on internet talking off parfaits/pavlovas/waffles/cheesecakes etc..
Only thing for sale was soft toys..no jams or the like..
Definitely would not go back..which is a pity as it was on top of my list of things to do

This farm shop sells great coffee, strawberry icecream, and novelties can also pyo strawberries. Only open for a few months each year.
