Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Went here for lunch and highly recommend it. Delightful vineyard with palm trees lining the drive. Lovely garden areas to sit and eat or drink. Limited lunch menu but very nice food and well priced. The wine is good too.
Riversands hosts events with musical evenings and community plays etc (eg Best Little Whorehouse in Texas this week).
Locals go here for lunch - can’t get a better recommendation than that.

The commentary was informative and done well, can't really pick a favourite as the whole experience was excellent. Bought some really nice wines.

Great chat with Josh during our wine tasting. A young traveller from UK, he was keen and selling the products. Josh has clearly taken on what he has been taught in the past 2 mths. Pity he couldn't make it to Birdsville Races though. Lovely spot for Ploughman's lunch in the garden.

The Cotton Vineyard Farm Tour is a must. Highly informative and diverse. Tour lead by a cotton grower with vast knowledge of the crop, regions history and technology that now underpins the cotton industry.
Lunch and wine tasting, after a tour of the Riversands Winery vineyard with the owner David, capped off the tour. Put this tour on your to do list when visiting a very tidy, community involved town.

I did the Cotton Farm and Winery tour today with Harry and it was fantastic, so much information about cotton growing and the irrigation system, the town from Harry and then onto the winery. Once again learnt lots from David about growing grapes for wine and the table. Had a lovely lunch and wine tasting, even bought some wine.
Pity it was not the time of year to see cotton or grapes growing but was still worth it.

When we visited it looked like the vines were resting and the wines I really wanted to taste were out of stock. I came away with one of their sparkling wines after doing a wine tasting.

As part of the Heritage Bus Tour we went to Riversands Winery for lunch. The pumpkin soup was hot and delicious. The sandwiches were to die for - they included jams and relishes made at the winery. While most of their grapes are the table varieties - the winery has quite a few flavours in wines and each is worth tasting.

Did a wine tasting 🍷with Jack who certainly knew about the history around the area and about the wines he was presenting, pretty good for a young fella from Bristol, he was having a go and did an excellent job of it. We finished with a light lunch and left with a few bottles🍷, Thanks Jack, good luck with your travels👍🆙
