I took the children out to St George in October to show them Stavros' s amazing life's work. I have been here before prior to children and his uniqueness and passionate talent struck a chord with me. I wanted them to also experience the craftsmanship and effort put into his beautiful emu eggs. If you are ever out this way;... More

This place is most definitely a must see. $5 entry per person is well worth it. You get a 5 minute video to watch prior to viewing the display room which gives you a brief history and story of who the artist is. Very good. Then into the display room. WOW Hard to explain this mans skills and the natural... More

The elderley gentleman was very hands on, he has been carving emu eggs for decades, and his displays are well illuminated and interesting.

Steve Margaritis has been carving these amazing emu eggs for more than 60 years. You can watch him as he carves at a small desk behind the counter in his sports store. The cost to view the eggs is $5 and that includes viewing a video before he takes you into the back room. After the lights are switched off... More

The display is amazing and is unbelievable that one man could be so skilled in carving the Emu egg. Numerous carved eggs on display including eggs carved by the owner's daughter - Definitely has the "WOW" factor and is a must see - worth visiting.
