Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This was a spur of the moment visit, but well worth it. After 5 minutes or so, we were joined by a local young man who took us back to the start and explained the stories behind all the paintings as we made our way through.
The paintings are beautiful, and the back stories were very interesting for an Aussie who has only been exposed to the basics of our indigenous history.

I don't know why this is on the website? The front door is closed, sheet across the window and a "For Lease" sign out front. I'd say the enterprise is no longer working.

Unfortunately this attraction is closed. There is a for sale sigh on the building and the building is empty. Unknown reasons.

I spent about forty minutes being led through the fantastic art by the local curator. Incredibly knowledgeable, but down to earth and inclusive.

This is a very good place to visit. It has many of the local lads fully engaged in quality work. Not only art but many other forms of woodwork. It’s a credit to the local indigenous lads that this is a going concern. Well worth a visit.

Johnny was our guide - and as we looked at mysterious and beautiful artwork: we heard the story of St George -the meeting place of groups - from coastal and river areas and from the desert.
Stand out moments - the truly gorgeous brolga painting; the technical flair that pulled us to the goanna painting and the moving tribute of one grand daughter to her RSL forebears. Enjoy.

Called in to check out some local indigenous art and were invited to take a tour with Johnny who was extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic while explaining some of the local legends of the area and the artists and their artwork that was on display and for sale.
Johnny is also an artist and showed some of his pieces on display and some that he had created and sold, via photos on his phone.
Entry is by donation.
Highly recommended.
